It was just kinda blah. It had interesting decor but the food was just mediocre, nothing really stood out. The store was interesting but I didn’t find anything interesting enough to buy.

Atmosphere is amazing. Service was very odd. Long wait at table in between each interaction and it wasn't very busy at the time. Very odd, a little frustrating

Coming here becme a family tradition for about 4 years. Every birthday, we would drive 1.5hr from Chicago to visit Machine Shed.

Well yesterday was one of those days and it was ruined by our racist server. Sorry but being a minority you tend notice those things., especially when she was making it so obvious.

She was rainbows and sunshine while tending to other patrons but the moment she got to our table she became passive aggressive and just plain rude.

Nothing like starting a meal with a rude fat shaming racist waitress.

To be honest, I was ok with her attitude up until she insinuated that my sister walked out without paying, despite me telling her and seeing my sister with her own eyes that my sister was in line buying a pie and paying her tab.
Don't get me wrong I completely understand asking, but when you have a tone, then proceed to follow my sister to the front then ask me a third time. Yeah, im a little annoyed now. Kicker part is she acted surprised when I finally asked her if she wanted to see her receipt.

So long storry short, we won't be back anytime soon. We can spend our $300+ somewhere else a little closer to home.

Lots of food, tasty. Had that machine shed vibe with lots of old things- tractor seats, tools, with gift shop in lobby, very rustic

The atmosphere is laid back. The family style options and bread basket with dinner rolls and seasonal baked bread is always a hit with my family.

A good restaurant we usually go to. However lately they have messed up a few things. Not sure what’s going on with the cooks in the brunch time.

Eggs Benedict are over easy, not over hard. Bacon is hard and cold.

Server gave food quickly, but then disappeared as if her shift had ended. I couldn’t even let her know the food was bad and it needed to be taken back so we ate it because we were tired of waiting.

Not a great experience, the cinnamon role was the peak of the experience. 3/10. Have to do better especially when you’re not busy.

First time here. Very clean, friendly staff and everything went well. They really try here to make everything great. Brittany, I think? Was awesome.

We ate at The Machine Shed for the first time in about four years last night. It will be the last time I ever eat there as well. The food is severely lacking in quality. When we received our family sides of cottage cheese and coleslaw, I had some of each and found the cottage cheese to be ok. The coleslaw however had way too much sugar and did not taste good at all. The main entree I had was the liver and onions. The liver pieces were heavily breaded and overly seasoned and salted to the point one could not even taste the meat. I had maybe half of one piece before I decided it was inedible. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. The potatoes tasted fine but the green beans were coated in a sauce that was overly sweet. I had never had candied green beans before and they were disgusting. One bite of green beans was all I could handle. It’s sad when the best part of your meal is the cottage cheese. Aside from the high price for the dinners we had, my stomach was upset for the rest of the evening. I would go hungry rather than risk another meal at this establishment.
