Small menu (which I appreciate) & a very cozy dining area that reminded me of the local supper club type restaurants of the 80s that I grew up going to. Felt nostalgic. Honest food made with care. Chicken fried rice was delicious - I love how you leave the chicken breast intact, it was moist & flavorful. The sushi was as fresh as can be. We all loved it. I look forward to dining here again!

LITERALLY, the best sushi your going to find in the 815, don’t be scared by the location and appearance on the OUTSIDE of the building. The sushi is fresh, the service is amazing and the atmosphere is great!! Have a seat at the sushi bar make a friend and share some of your favorite bites. Grab a table of a more intimate dinner, I love this place and I will always come back.

Shame on new ownership order two ribeyes we're from out of town now bragging about this place...huh seeming to concentrate on sushi only two couples come in after us and leave before we even get our food.. how hard is it to cook steaks.. then also we order medium rare comes out overdone on one medium on the other.. totally disappointed was bragging about this place to my son.. you better cater to everybody talk to old ownership find out where they bought their steaks because you're not using the same ones.. that wasn't the highest grade steaks.. if I could give this a negative star I would.. and I'm bragging about this place to anybody and everybody you got to try Marc fusion.. used to live in Rockford
Other then this being a tiny place this restaurant is serving some amazing food, from sushi 🍣 to pork chops
