Fabulous food! Instead of sending flowers to a sick family member I sent 3 delicious soups and a few side dishes.

Absolutely love their food! Wonderful staff!

White, unripe tomatoes on our BLT, undercooked potatoes in potato salad, and a soggy, oily Monte Cristo. Asked to have the Monte Cristo remade crispy, they brought back the same sandwich (with our bite taken out of it) slightly reheated, still soggy and gross, on the same oily plate from before, and explained that because they use batter (no kidding) their sandwich is meant to be soggy. Pretty sure putting our partially eaten sandwich back on their grill is a health code violation. Left the sandwich and let them know it was still inedible. They said sorry, never offered a refund, replacement, or remade food

We were disappointed today. Scant portions and potatoes in potato salad were way undercooked. Staff not too concerned when we mentioned.

My husband and I generally try to keep our expectations low when getting food in Rockford, but I guess sometimes paying for something edible is just sometimes too much to ask for. We ordered a Monte Cristo and BLT, respectively, with a side of potato salad and fresh fruit. After 10 or 15 mins our food came out, and I discovered my Monte Cristo bread was essentially raw with egg and apparently pancake batter. It was soggy, wet, squishy, incredibly unappetizing, not too mention flavorless as I did try one bite. It was returned and when my husband told them it was soft and practically raw, the girl taking orders and serving said that's how they make it. Okay, ew. So I guess they said they would do it crispier. Meanwhile I tried my potato salad, potatoes were undercooked but I ate them anyway, because I was starving. They put under ripe tomatoes on the BLT, during the summer. When my sandwich finally came back, about 10 more mins, they said their cook said that's how they make it ad I'd I should expect it to come out that way. When I commented it was raw, it's as if they still hadn't noticed. When I picked up the sandwich to see if it was made better, I realized there was a bite out it. They hadn't even bothered to make me a new sandwich, they just put a sandwich with a bite out of it back onto a public griddle, it was neither hot or cooked properly, still. We took it inside and when asked we told them it was inedible, and they said, 'sorry'. I gotta tell you, I just love throwing money away. When you're truly hungry, this kind of thing is infuriating. Will never go back, and would not recommend this place to anyone .

Mary's Market is simply delicious...from the soups and sandwiches and salads to the coffee and smoothies and alcohol (on Friday nites). Great gathering place! Especially when there's live music on the mall!!

Always check your order before leaving. Management failed to remedy their mistake and asked for more of my time to come back so they could correct. I only asked for my funds back for food not received. Sad thing is I have been eating here for 10+ years and now will never again because of poor people handling skills.

The waitstaff here usually act like you're bothering them. Never hear a thank you. Not much in the pastry display cabinets these days. Pricey.

The bakery at Mary's is wonderful and sometimes a bit decadent (NOT like that's a bad thing) I buy their bread to bring back to Wisconsin with me...

Filthy. Carpet with old spots and debris. Torn and not even taped. Table and floors sticky. Very disappointed
