They got rid of the one vegan breakfast option. Very upsetting and have not much else to choose from.

I ordered two pies to pick up at the Roscoe location on Friday, November 8th. when I got there they only had one of my pies and had sold the other one. I was on my way out of town and needed both my pies but was left having to figure out how I was going to get one in the literally 5 minutes i had to spare before leaving. The worst part was all I was offered was a "I'm sorry" or let me see if Perryville has one you can go get. I didnt have time, nor should have had to drive down to Perryville... they offered to take nothing off my purchase, a free pie at a later date or anything. This same sort of thing happened last time they were open in Roscoe, I thought maybe the customer service would have improved this time. I'd be leary to order if you 100% need your items because you may or may not get them, leaving you screwed😥

To anyone looking for the best catering in the Rockford, IL area, look no further, this is THE best around. When I first called Mary's Market and asked to speak with the person in charge of catering, Laurena took my call and we had the most pleasant conversation, really hit it off from the get-go. She was super attentive to all our needs and went the extra mile every step of the way to ensure we had the best menu for each breakfast and lunch she and her staff were creating for us. We were on a big production for a photoshoot and needed our crew to be well-fed and happy with each meal, which is no small feat. Laurena truly knocked it out of the park! We needed a bit of "hand-holding" and she was happy to chime in and help us along the way with any questions we had, and the food was AMAZING!! From what I recall, my favorites were, Market Strata (sausage), taco bar (order extra guacamole, it's incredible), stuffed mushrooms, seedy bagel sticks (make sure you toast them right before eating), and OMG the gourmet cookies!!! These might be the best cookies ever. They're impossible not to eat, no matter what diet you're trying to stay on. SO many great options and really, all the food was great.. and the service matched the greatness. We even had some days up in Whitewater, and they were so wonderful to accommodate us up there. They've got brand new vans that can hold all their carts and trays, and everything arrived warm and stayed warm for the shoots thanks to their chafing dish racks and sternos. I could go on and on about the food but truly it was Laurena that made this experience so wonderful. Thank you so much for helping our production receive the best catering we've ever had!

We try to get to Mary's Market when visiting Rockford, Not anymore! In the past, I've had great food - from sandwiches to trays of desserts. This time we joined friends for lunch. We should have left with the sticky menu's. The prices were great but the food was bland to bad. The "seasonal quiche" had a paper like crust with a gooey, bland filling. Skip this place!

The service was excellent, the food fresh and very tasty. We had the honey chipotle chicken tacos and the Monte Carlo. The food came quickly, with a great presentation and generous portions. The Monte Carlo was melty and cheesy and, of course, the bread wa was homemade and delicious, along with the accompanying compote. The tacos had a myriad of ingredients and flavors and the two tacos were huge. The fruit cup was fresh and the steak fries had a nice smattering of spices. All in all, a great meal for weary, hungry travelers. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday around 1 pm. It was not crowded, nice booths, many windows, pleasant staff and a great set of menu options. Between the 3 of us we enjoyed the sweet potato skillet, avocado tacos, and scrambled eggs. All dishes were well prepared and they offer a wide variety of whole grain or sour dough breads to accompany them. Highly recommended. This was a great stop on our trip home from Galena IL to Indianapolis, IN.
