I used to live in Florida. Get the guacamole. I no longer miss my old haunts because Chavez has the best Mexican food. They have a fantastic mix of authentic and some toned down American-Mexican. Get the guacamole. They have wonderful margaritas and reasonably priced pitchers. The staff is always friendly ready to go. They have added seafood which looks drool worthy but I haven't yet tried it. They also have a great birthday get up ?. But lastly. Get the guacamole.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and so was the service. The waiter let us speak to him in Spanish and showed us a lot of respect. The fish I had was not salted, but the temperature was perfect.

First time here and will definitely return! Our server was fantastic. I believe it was Edgar according to the receipt, but he was hilarious and made the experience very pleasurable. My husband and I ordered the house margaritas on the rocks and they were delicious. The tri colored enchiladas were amazing.
