This is by far the WORST restaurant in Rockford! Not only is the food disgusting but the service is horrible. The waitress didnt even know what a torta dinner meant nor what a diet coke was( i was in disbelief while ordering). The food came out cold, bland and dry! The rice was crunchy, my camarones a la diabla were SWEET! They couldnt even get the chips and salsa right. No flavor and stale. This place and its workers don't even deserve 1 star. If you're looking for a decent meal do NOT go here!

Every time we go we like the food, except for today the tripe was chewy and hard. What we have never liked is the poor service and how dirty it is. They take forever to bring you whatever you ask for, if they even bring it. They always have teenage girls working there who, you can tell, have no experience in customer service or cleaning at all. We have returned because we like the food, but today they definitely lost our business. Every time we go, we are hoping the service would be better, but no. It never is.

I called to order threw delivery and let me say I was answered by a rude lady that is supposedly new and she also hung up on me when I asked to speak to someone with experience, a manager, or the owner. They do not have personal delivery driver wish understable but sucks because GrubHub for this location was not allowing me to pay with cash. Did not go personally because of parking issue in my area.. I called again after the lady hung up on me and a guy answered, he said he was the owner. Well I hope he was if not I hope the real owner sees what I had to comment.

I wanted to give it a chance one last time. Over the years Ive tried going back hoping things would improve. Last night was the last time for me. Still has the worst service, its dirty and food is terrible. My kids steak gorditas were dripping in oil. Tables were dirty, food took forever. Not to mention the server had the worst attitude. Its really sad that this used to be a place with quality mexican food and fast service. Not to mention when adding a tip on a card the min is 18%, out of guilt I didn’t decline and leave nothing bc I understand times are tough but after I left it felt worse that I left the server almost 15$ for giving me terrible service, she looked so unhappy and non friendly at all. Save your money guys and go somewhere else or stay home. I’ve withheld saying anything negative for years but wow last night was the final straw for me.
