Mr. Burger, now black owned as of 6-1-2025, offers excellent food that is done within 10-15 minutes. The customer service is great, and the atmosphere is fantastic, especially under the new ownership. The new owner, a professional chef, is constantly checking on guests and serving incredibly delicious meals from the new menu. Combo meals are reasonably priced, and the fries remain a highlight. The restaurant is very clean and serves a variety of meals, including vegetarian options, with kid-friendly tables for families. Customers have enjoyed dishes like Jerk Chicken rice bowls, salmon rice bowls, and wings with honey barbecue or jerk seasoning, all prepared with flavorful seasoning and cooked just right. The food is often so good that customers take leftovers home. The owner is praised for being super nice and attentive, making the dining experience personalized and enjoyable. This place is now the best in Rockford, and guests won’t be disappointed.
