Took about 10 minutes before we was acknowledged. Then we was told they would be right with us. When she came to our table we order appetizers and our drinks. Took about ten minutes or so too recieve our drinks. She took our order and asked us do you want you appetizers to come out first? We'll yes. She came out with our appetizers . Which was really good. It started getting busy. When she finally brought our food, we waited forever!! We got our food, it was cold. My husband got the jack potatoes with chili and sour cream. It look like dried mud with little acorns in it. You could tell it wasnt fresh at all. I got the four sliders. They come on those funny look roll time buns. Like the Hawaiian rolls. When I tell you the piece of hamburger meet on my rolls was the size of a quart maybe a little bigger. I had to put 2 pieces of meet on one bun to be able to eat it. They where cold and so was my fries. So bad. We paid 38 dollars for not worth eating, we put it in a book and brought it home to our pup!

Order sliders and asked to sub the fries for the loaded potatoes, instead of the server telling us we couldn’t do that and would be charged full price .. she put the order in. When the owner came out he said the loaded potato as a mean not a side.

This place was great on Thursdays they have a special with Reuben sandwiches the food was great the sandwich was really really good service was good the waitress was really polite and courteous I was just great recommend going there for a sandwich the atmosphere blah blah blah it was great

If you’re looking for one of the best bar and grill spots in Rockford, Murphy’s Pub delivers every time. I had the Patty Melt with French fries and an Espresso Martini, and both were top-notch. The patty melt was perfectly grilled — juicy beef, melted cheese, and caramelized onions stacked between golden, crispy bread. Fries came out hot, fresh, and seasoned just right.

The Espresso Martini deserves its own spotlight — smooth, rich, and easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in the area. You can tell the bartenders here care about their craft.

Murphy’s Pub is the kind of place that feels both friendly and elevated — great food, quality drinks, and a relaxed local vibe that makes it easy to stay for “just one more.” Highly recommend this spot for anyone searching for great bar food, cocktails, and service in Rockford.

Great place to eat, we live in Wisconsin, unfortunately have needed to spend time at Javon Bea Hospital multiple times recently. Im glad to say we found this restaurant/bar, food is great and the employees are friendly. We will continue to make the drive to enjoy Murphy's Pub & Grill.

So the Server was fine, not the problem. The food was pretty bad though. My burger looked and tasted like it was boiled. I wasn't even expecting real rashers but I had hope that maybe there would be. I'm Irish, I cook full Irish breakfast all the time, I suggest the brand Winston. My niece wasn't mad at her sliders but said the bread was hard. I only ate the fries, I didn't complain to the server because she looked like she was on her own and I didn't feel like making her job harder. I had two bites of my burger that I ordered medium well, there wasn't even a sear on it just grey wet meat. Oh and the cheese curds had to be microwaved but we ate them bc we were hungry. All in all not the servers fault but the food is pretty bad.

Big place, server Brianna was exceptional! So nice! A great place to socialize with a huge bar & many tables. We were there for lunch. Had reubon sandwich, a little too much saurkraut & the cornbeef (kind of fatty) wasn't sliced thin enough. The atmosphere is very lively and they have slot machines as well. It looks like they have a DJ on weekends. A clean place.

Great hole in the wall dive bar kind of place. Dollar pool, darts, and very reasonably priced food and drinks. Full kitchen with some pretty amazing eats! DJ on Wednesday and karaoke on Thursday. Everyone there was super friendly and the service staff very attentive and friendly. This is the kind of place I will go out of my way to go back to!
