Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

No one came to seat us but an employee that was leaving for the night stated to go sit at the bar after standing for 10 minutes. Then it took another 15 minutes for the bartender to come and place our order. We ordered pizza to go then a drink. For 3 drinks with no mix, we waited on them for another 15 minutes. This place I will never come back to again. I'm a Floridian proud.

Food was solid. Service was slightly above average, 7/10 atmosphere probably better if you like sports more than I do. Good place should definitely at least try

Kila(I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) was the perfect waiter
She made sure we were taken care of and checked on us occasionally
She really made the experience 10x better with her customer service...will be returning

This business has about 61 locations in the US. Only one of the locations is in Illinois. The location in Illinois is not in Chicago. There is nothing Chicago about this business.

Went for lunch and did the three-fer special. A great deal at $10.99. The kitchen made my pizza on the wrong crust which was not a big deal for me. Before bringing the pizza out, the server told me it was made on thin crust instead of hand tossed but they had the correct one in the oven now. I was served the thin crust and given the hand tossed to go. This is an indication that management is good as they didn’t have to do that since I was okay with the thin crust. Food was hot and service was good.

The quality of the cuisine, the exceptional service, and the pleasant ambiance collectively contributed to an outstanding dining experience. I strongly suggest considering this establishment for your next luncheon or dinner engagement.

Literally the worst service ever . When we came in we weren’t even greeted for 10 min . There was probably 5 other people in the restaurant so it’d be different if they were busy, but all the waitresses INCLUDING manager were standing and SITTING at the bar talking to eachother. We didn’t even get a menu nor did the people behind us get one for 10 whole minutes. They were literally all sitting around at the bar (no customers) all staff sitting around talking about their cats!!! Manager goes to fridge to open up a damn POP instead of attending to their customers! Then our service overall was HORRIBLE . No refills , just kept going back to the bar to talk w her co workers . Never came to ask if we needed refills or anything . I just can’t believe she was actually sitting at the bar . First of all who sits on a job when their customers are waiting to be waited on ??? I tip when the service is good and that was TRASH!!! If anything I should have tipped the cook and that’s it because the food was good. Don’t come here unless u wanna be here for an hour and half when there’s barely any other customers . 5 waitresses , and 3 other parties other than me and the person I was with and yet we still had horrible service!!!!

Their drinks and food are always top notch. I usually sit in the bar area and have great service. Pepperoni rolls and bloody marys for me watching the game on Sundays
