This is a poke' bowl restaurant with a small but tasty menu. You are greeted by a kiosk on a side wall, sort of lame and weird. There was no human interaction other than a person calling my name when our food was done. The bowls were well balanced and fresh as the menu suggested. I would come back for the same thing probably, the only spicy poke' bowl on the menu. The booth seats need better padding.

Right next door to Pancheros, Poke Green is your option for a dinner that fills you up with leftovers for tomorrow. If you're unfamiliar with what a poke bowl is, they're simple: bowls of hot rice topped with tons of things! Your choice of meats (red, white, and fishy), vegetables, fruits, and even sauces or other things. Despite how that might sound initially, it's always something to try at least once. The place itself is super chill with lots of seating and you order primarily by tablet (hence the 4 stars on service; no knock to the workers at all, that's just something that might be a bit overwhelming if you're completely new to the place). Food can take a bit to come out, but you won't regret the wait, I promise you that.
Also: this place does takoyaki balls. Do you know how rare that is? In Rockford?? In this economy??? Would come back here again, zero hesitation.

Disappointed after looking at pretty good reviews and this place not living up to them at all. The employee couldn't answer any questions we had in regards to sauces or ingredients. We were the only people in the place and all but one table was dirty and the trash was almost overflowing while the 3 young girls working just loudly chatted in the back. My husband and I both tried a bowl and didn't even eat half. The spicy tuna tasted off and both of our stomachs were upset almost immediately after.

I go to this place pretty often since there’s not a lot of poke places in rockford but the bowl i got today wasn’t to its best service. I ordered the double protein so I could get more salmon but it was definitely less than the regular. I paid extra for the extra scoop so it was a waste of money.

I had a good experience here. The food is so fresh and there are good selections too. Of course you can make your own bowl, which is always good. I had enough left that I was able to take some home. I thought the price was decent too. Im glad rockford had a poke place!

Food is great! You can choose a bowl that has options already paired together OR you can build your own with lots of choices. Everything is on a rice base. Choose proteins, veggies, fruits, sauces, toppings. Portions are good. I usually make 2 meals from it. The reason for lower rating: we dined in, there was no air & no fan. It was very hot. We live far away and we were celebrating Father's day. Also, they have a self order tablet. I like to order in person because sometimes I want something and need to explain it, which you can't do on a tablet. We waited awhile before someone asked if they could help us. You order it window. They also should have fountain drinks and they had no ice. But we do love the taste of their food!
