Italian beef with hot peppers. Need I say more. Oh yeah they have a chocolate cake shake!! Love eating some Portillo’s when I visit Illinois. This location was great service was on par, food was great. Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite!

Cmon this is PORTILLOS were talking about here, there LEGENDS in the food business. Like them or hate em, you have to give them there dues. They have a full house, everyday, most of the day, with very few complaints. If someone complains it's typically about service not the food. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PORTILLOS, especially those BEEF SANDWICHES those hit home with me, the very thing that reminds me of Grandma's house in Roseland late 70s early 80s just love em!!!!!!Thanks PORTILLOS!

The people are nice and they keep it really clean. Food is always good.
Italian beefs were good, but they forgot the peppers. We had to chase down 2 people to get iced tea because it was empty. Tables were sticky. All plastic silverware bins were empty, napkins were empty, and employees were arguing about whose job it was to fill everything. It was also really noisy.

This is more of a co worker review from an old employee and one of the reasons why I quit.
There is clear favoritism and one of the people I want to say knows this and takes advantage of it is Shawna. She hates being outside especially when it’s really hot or really cold and I get that everyone does. However she will leave her teammate outside until literally a manager tells her to go outside (which is usually not until literally the whole line is gone so a couple of cars). I don’t think that’s fair that she constantly gets away with just walking away and leaving her teammate to do all the work in COLD and HOT temperatures while she’s inside doing who knows what but usually not very helpful in the areas that don’t need help (she likes to go where her friends are to chat). People have told me they told the managers and crew chiefs but they never do anything so what was the point of me saying something? Hopefully this review will help anyone else who’s not receiving help from their teammates.
