Food is ok. Fried green beans amazing. Wings were a little overvooked and dry, but meaty and good flavor.Burgers were good enough. Frozen Patties cooked as good as it can be. Sweet potato fries were overcooked. Garlic butter fries are not worth $2 up charge.Has kids menu, but didn't feel family friendly at first. Has arcade. Kids meal is supposed to come with $5 card. Haven't left yet, will be asking about it shortly.Unfortunately, service was a little lacking due to only 1 bartender and no server. Not his fault. He did best he could.I will check it out again. Maybe when live music is playing. It looks like a cool place. Definitely has potential.

It has been 3 years since I have been here, and it was no different. The following review was done 3 years ago and the burger tonight was overcooked and incredibly tough. I didn't eat it. We still had to pay for it. The service was better and the fries are the BEST! The burgers are BAD! I have had old bubblegum with more flavor and easier to chew. It really does annoy me to pay for food I didn't eat.3 yrs prior. Well, sad to say, it appears to be filled with employees that don't like their jobs. Last night was awful! The food was bad and the service AWFUL! I didn't eat my burger that was dropped off overcooked and incorrect toppings. The waitress NEVER came near our table again until we put our coats on. She asked if I wanted it boxed up and when I said NO, it is not even what I ordered and doesn't taste good, she actually laughed and said she would tell the cook. And then charged us for the burger. This was one of my favorite places in town, they have some great events, but for food and service, I say go to Fozzy's or Casey's.

Had our Christmas party there, great place and staff! Excellent place to hang out. Good drinks, we catered in the food, but next time will eat there.

Stoped at stockyard for a quick bite and a drink or two, not the 1st time i have been hear . We where served bye ginger he was very friendly and professional . Good food and good drinks . We will be back soon.

Menu is awesome and food was even better, super cool place for the family or just to grab a drink and hangout the staff was super friendly and welcoming! Will for sure be back five stars all around!

Ginger booked my band to play the burger bar last year, he gave us a friendly welcome and treated us to food, it was an awesome experience all around, Excited to come back next time and try more of the menu.

This place is awesome! The manager named "Ginger" is making phenomenal changes! New recipes and games! The "Don't get Comfy" and "Dark Sun" burgers me and my fiance had were fantastic! Deffinately will recommended!

As a bartender at Stockyard, I just HAVE to vouch for it. We create such a wonderful environment here. Our arcade is tons of fun and the banquet room is the perfect size for any party. Come celebrate with us. The entire staff is amazing: cooks, bartenders, and especially our manager/owner Billy! (Even the cleaning staff, beer guys, and mail lady are such sweethearts and kind souls!!) Billy works very hard and we appreciate everything he does for us. Our menu is spectacular with wild and tasty burgers, wraps, and sandwiches to chose from… all named after local vendors and bands! Our appetizers are the bomb diggity, too. Truly one of the best bars in Rockford. I prefer stockyard over every other bar. The welcoming atmosphere pulls you in and makes you want to stay. The entire staff is amazing, on point, and go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. And the musical acts that come through are all top notch. Truly the only bar keeping Rockford metal scene alive and well.
