Had been over 30 years since I ate here at the Swedish Pancake House. Different menu, staff, and all. Still good service and more various food. They do have some Mexican food especially that torta that they had for a week special ...which I wanted to try since I am fan of tortas but had opted for Texas Patty Melt because I am more in mood for some bacon.

We were seated and then ignored. The restaurant was not overly busy, but the two servers ignored us and waited in three tables that came in after us. We left after being ignored for 15 minutes.

It’s just a small place that I haven’t seen very busy when I go. You can walk in sit right down. The food is a good price it comes fast and is always what you would expect from a tiny spot like this fire!!

I had food delivered and the gravy was over EVERYTHING... The pancakes, the biscuits, the outside of the container, the bottom of the bag..... everything. The breakfast was inedible. Either the driver threw the meal around the vehicle, the food prep was delinquent in their job, or both. This was a complete waste of time, money and the business should be embarrassed by it's obvious lack of professionalism. I will take my chances buying gas station sushi before I will ever order food from Swedish Pancake House in Rockford Illinois ever again.

The quality has gone downhill. My son and I used to come here frequently for breakfast. This last visit was a major disappointment. Food was not good. Won't be back.
