Our crock of French Onion soup was served just minutes before our main meal was served. I had the ribeye with topping of sautéed mushrooms. Mushrooms were way overdone and cool. Chef's choice vegetables were also just warm. We think our food set after plating for some time. Our waitress gave us a free dessert to make up for the issues but still left us with us with a less than desirable experience this time. We will try it again as we have always loved the food and...
This was our first time visiting and it was so good! The pasta dishes we had were fantastic along with the drinks and dessert. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. They were very busy on a Saturday night so you’ll want to plan accordingly with a reservation.
Sat at the bar — the barmaid was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome. I went with the Seafood Mixed Grill from the day menu, and it was absolutely outstanding. The scallops and shrimp were seared and cooked to perfection (and I know what I’m talking about, having been born on the Gaspé Shore in Québec). The charred cauliflower paired with the chorizo risotto elevated the dish even further. A true delicacy for the palate. Thanks ToC! I’ll be back as soon as possible.
