Just came in for a beer but what a fun place with some of the most enjoyable employees we’ve dealt with in awhile. Just sitting at the bar was fun, entertaining and informative which was nice since we were just passing thru looking for recommendations for things to do. A++ service!!

We had reservations and were quickly sat down. The service was great, no complaints here. The food was also very good with Scandinavian size portions. I had a bloody marry served with a sidecar of pilsner beer.

walked in randomly as a party of 3 on a Saturday night (5:30 pm) and were told by a smirking hostess that every table was sat. the wait would be at least an hour and a half, and the next reservation would be at 7:45pm. i understand that Saturday is busy, and we didn't have a reservation... however she made zero effort to accommodate us, or even pretend to care. we had to go elsewhere since we had our 19mo son with us

The service was good, but the food was average at best and overpriced. We went for dinner, but it seems like this restaurant is better known for its brunch. I had a kingdom berry spritzer, and it was way too sweet. The broccoli hash was ok, but it could have been made at home with frozen broccoli and frozen hash browns. I nibbled on my husband's fries, and they were extra crispy, let’s say. Finally, the carrot cake was delicious, but for $12, you'd think it would be big enough to share a slice. It was not. Oh! And our cheese board was supposed to come with grapes. We did not get grapes. I'm salty about that.

Last minute decision to spend day in Rockford and looked for a place online while driving. We look for something different to try and we're not disappointed! Definitely make reservations if your going to try although on a Sunday Morning we only waited 1/2hr for a bar seating, which was totally fine more interaction with staff and able to watch the workings of the restaurant. Food was delicious, healthy options (GF,vegan) We will definitely be back!
