We had reservations and were quickly sat down. The service was great, no complaints here. The food was also very good with Scandinavian size portions. I had a bloody marry served with a sidecar of pilsner beer.
The service was good, but the food was average at best and overpriced. We went for dinner, but it seems like this restaurant is better known for its brunch. I had a kingdom berry spritzer, and it was way too sweet. The broccoli hash was ok, but it could have been made at home with frozen broccoli and frozen hash browns. I nibbled on my husband's fries, and they were extra crispy, let’s say. Finally, the carrot cake was delicious, but for $12, you'd think it would...
Last minute decision to spend day in Rockford and looked for a place online while driving. We look for something different to try and we're not disappointed! Definitely make reservations if your going to try although on a Sunday Morning we only waited 1/2hr for a bar seating, which was totally fine more interaction with staff and able to watch the workings of the restaurant. Food was delicious, healthy options (GF,vegan) We will definitely be back!
