Service by Tyler was top notch! Food was adequate. When I ordered risotto I expected risotto. It was more like rice a roni stuffed in a red pepper. The sauce under the pepper was very acidic and not very tasty. The crostini were amazing however. I did take the dessert sampler to go. It was absolutely delicious!

The pork shank, Tai chicken Drummies and lamb lollipops were all delicious.On the night we went which was the Saturday after Valentine’s Day, they only had one bartender and one server for the entire room so service was slow. The bar tender doubled as ourWaiter and he was very knowledgeable, professional, polite and attentive as he could be given the lack of help. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the food. A bigger menu and more servers/bartenders will definitely earn a future review more stars.

We went here for valentines special menu. So I didn't try anything off regular menu, but the food we were given was very delicious. The potato was a little cold, but still tastes good and presentation was nice. The view and decor was very good as well.

What a mighty good time we had Celebrating My Daughter Blessed Day Dinner and Rockford Regional Restaurant Week. The Autumn Tequila Sour was Festive, had a nice buzz from it. Lol. The Pork Belly and The Spicy Thai Drummies was ???. The private room was nice with a great view and we played music of our choice off the tv. Most definitely a nice VIBE and will be back again.❤️KIM

I had reservations at 5:00, they moved my time to 5:20, which was so nice and they gave us a window seat as we requested. The only improvement could be with service. My party didn't get there until 10 minutes after I did(couldn't find parking) and they wouldn't serve me until my friends arrived. They had given me their drink order so I could have ordered? They seemed short staffed and the host could run drinks or food a bit more than he did. If there were one more waitress we'd all get better service. Or if the host watched when drinks got empty and pitched in that would work too. We definitely had to wait more than we cared to. Overall nice place and beautiful view!
Had the Sunday brunch with friends-- a group of 6. Food an serive were really good. The breakfast boards offer a heaping helping of food that goes a long way. My only gripe was the mandatory gratuity. I don't mind that there *is* a gratuity. I mind that it is 30%. I am a fairly generous tipper, but I found this extreme as the compulsory gratuity.

Wonderful food & service, great view, but the lighting isn't warm & inviting for relaxing with cocktails & food. The lighting would be better suited to a “fitness center” instead of a restaurant/lounge.

We were so happy with our experience at The Top. The staff was all great, accommodating and friendly. Our waitress was extremely sweet and friendly. The food was even better than expected...so delicious. And we came on the day Santa was there for our kids and the whole experience was wonderful.
The scallops are on point here. The brisket flatbread was delicious according the my husband. All the drinks were perfect. And I'm pleased to save our friend greatly enjoyed his first taste of scallops.
