I’ve been a regular at Velvet at least once a week for the past few months and I am obsessed 👏🏼 The staff is super friendly and accommodating, their food is delicious (especially their bagel sandwiches), and their drinks are amazing! My go to in the fall is the Gilmore Girl or an iced matcha with almond milk with vanilla. Reasonably priced, great atmosphere, and one of the very best in the 815!

Very disappointing. Went to the store on Alpine a few weeks ago for a lunch sandwich and was told they were all out of meat. Today at the new location in Roscoe the new flavors are all pumpkin. Which is fine. But they are all out of pumpkin. It’s 915 in the morning. Buddy tried to order a breakfast sandwich and was told they are out of bacon. I love supporting small local businesses but not being able to order more than half the menu isn’t a way to stay in business.

Went on a Saturday afternoon to the Roscoe location, we were not greeted warmly and it seemed like they were irritated to be there or take our orders or make our drinks. Beverages were subpar. Honestly with the not at all inviting atmosphere and people and the drinks being not great, I wouldn’t ever return. Which is a shame, because it seemed like it would be a cool place/exactly the type of place we’d enjoy.
