Viva Mexico Authentic Mexican restaurant

Went here with my family a while back, and we had the best experience here. The food is absolutely delicious, you can tell its made with love and passion, the workers there are beyond kind and friendly, and we 100% recommend this to anyone looking for authentic mexican food ? you will not be dissatisfied!

The burrito was amazing, only thing is I wished there was a little more meat to fill it out. Also may have been because I opted for no rice that it was a little smaller than expected. Cebollitas were AMAZING.

Absolutely love the customer service here very polite and inviting place. The food is fresh and made to order exactly perfect. Delicious Mexican food, definitely a place to eat. A hidden gem and upcoming location.

My hubby & I just had chorizo tortas there for dinner and it was mouth- watering, excellent!Gina our hostess/ server was very friendly, courteous and spot on informative of all menu items.We will go back often!

The tortas and gorditas are so good . The meat is seasoned to perfection and cut small so each bite has the right amount of flavor . They always toast my torta crispy so the bread gets that nice golden color foods always fresh here .

I’m here every other day I know the laddies tired of seeing me in here but the steak tacos and hot wings with large rice water is a must

Went here on a whim while driving around with my wife… best decision we’ve made! I got the enchilada dinner and she got the taco dinner. Both were fresh, delicious, and authentic! Highly recommend stoping by for a nice lunch. Family owned, Great environment , and most important an absolutely amazing staff. Absolutely one of Rockfords hidden gems!

This was an amazing experience! From ordering on the phone, stopping in to grab our food and chat with the employees, and make it home to enjoy! The food was absolutely delicious, and had now become our new favorite restaurant! Please stop over and enjoy this amazing restaurant! Very much so reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking in Mexico! Delicious! We will be back there again soon!

A friend told me about this "Mexican restaurant on the West side", I laughed at first, but when I took the first bite I was very impressed. They cook it in front of you when you order it and the food is full of flavor. Seasoned perfectly and the prices are fair. There isn't a lot of tables, so it's a folksy place with nice people. Support this great local business.

This place is just getting started. It's roomy inside, but there aren't many table "yet". The food is pretty authentic. They gave us warm chips, with a red or green hot sauce. Both were delicious. We had a handmade chicken sope, tostada de carne asada and carne molina, which was the best I have had in awhile , the chicken taco was really flavorful too. The sopes and tostadas were topped with the crumbled white Mexican cotija cheese! We also ordered loaded fries Mexican style, seasoned ground beef, lettuce tomatoes, onions and and cheese sauce. We will definitely go back!
