This was soooooo good . My family and I came here after church and was welcomed with prayer before serving the food . I loved every dish I ordered but the banana pudding was the BEST banana pudding I’ve EVER had . You can tell they put love all through that food . Lord bless the hands of the cooks and the staff was soooooo kind !! We will be returning soon !

While waiting for them to open (1110am) was told 20 minutes, which turned into 40+. After we waited 45, we left. There were other people waiting too. during our WAITING we read some reviews and a good number mentioned the late opening, 45+ minutes of ordered food.
Opening on time SHOULD BE simple, if that's screwed up what else comes up short!!!

The catfish was amazing. The macaroni and cheese was very creamy. Can't wait to come back
Food was good but very unorganized. Poor customer service and poor time management.The place open at 11am and didn’t start serving food till 12:20pm. Poor execution from the workers having lack of knowledge on what needed to be done and how to do it. For example; The menu stated 2 meats and 4 sides but was not able to get two lamb as my meats. Fish wasn’t available and had to be special order ( Was not mention, nor did the workers know) else I would’ve ordered the fish ahead of time while I was waiting the hour 20 minutes to be served. I paid 176 for 5 people and drinks and dessert was not included.

I was visiting my son in Rockford and had a taste for soul food. Y'all know I like to Google new places and try based off reviews. THIS PLACE.......OMG!!!!! DELICIOUS!!! We got 2 fried catfish fillets and it came with FOUR sides!! We got double greens, Mac n cheese, and candied yams!!!! LAWD HAM MERCY!!!!! DEF repeat every time I go visit!! 🩵🩵🩵

I go to school in Dekalb so I have to drive 40 minutes to go here and it’s worth it every time. The yams are sweet and delicious, the greens have cabbage and tender meat in them so good, the baked chicken is seasoned so well and has this delectable skin, and the cajun turkey was amazing. I decided to pick up the german chocolate cake as well and it was sooo good. Their sweet tea is also southern sweet and absolutely delicious. The food is fresh and hot and you can tell that the staff works very hard. Everyone deserves their tens all around.
