What have you done?
Where did you get these prices? Everything is way too expensive now.
We used to visit this place every weekend, but now we don’t even want to come back because the prices are just unreasonably high.
Where do you even get these prices from?
I do not recommend this restaurant anymore.
Amazing experience!
I visited this Kyrgyz restaurant for the first time, and everything was perfect — the food, the atmosphere, and the service. The flavors are so authentic, it honestly feels like you’re eating in Central Asia. The lagman and manty were especially delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the hidden gems in Chicago! I’ll be coming back for sure. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try real Kyrgyz cuisine.
It’s a little overpriced

I’ve tried many Kyrgyz and Uzbek restaurants, and most of them tend to have a similar taste. Sorry Mommy was recommended by my family, and I’m glad I gave it a try it’s definitely a must-visit spot. The food was delicious, though the portions were a bit small for kebabs. That said, the quality and flavor made it worth it, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.

The food was super tasty and affordable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Honestly, one of the best spots we’ve tried in the U.S. — we loved it!!!!!
I’ve visited Sorry Mommy a few times now, and every single visit has been an absolute delight! The food is beyond delicious. I've tried the guryu lagman (beef), samsa chicken, and plov, and I’d happily recommend every one of them. The staff is very kind, polite, and thoughtful, checking in to make sure everything was perfect. I honestly can’t wait to come back again, 10/10 would recommend!

Muslim restaurant, delicious food, try Nejnuy Kebab, it’s the best one! But my personal view is not to pray out-load while others want to dine in and eating, looks awkward! But everything else is awesome

one of the best food experiences in Chicago!
first things first really loved the gan za ji spicy chicken. lagman is also the best. staff were pretty nice and friendly, explained everything and helped to decide. will be coming again to try more!
UPDATE :
I ordered online for a late dinner and saved it for lunch at university the next day. When I opened the container lately at morning, I found an earwig insect inside the food. The night before, I had fever and felt awful, and in the morning I realized this food was the reason.
This was extremely disappointing and concerning. Food safety should always come first, and this experience really ruined my trust. I hope the restaurant takes this issue very seriously and improves their hygiene and quality control.
