Stadium Sports Club & Pizza

I came to Illinois from Texas to visit my husband and he recommended us to come eat here. When he heard that they were closing he was quite devastated since this restaurant was a part of his childhood.We came to eat here on the last day before they closed, the food was really good, and the portions were hefty, but it was all worth eating :)They were also selling shirts! I just had to buy one as both a souvenir and a memory to remember! Thank you!

Sadly I was there on the second to last day of the restaurant being open. It is now closed after 40 years. The owner has retired.

What's there to say that has not been said. This place is legendary and sad to see it close. Went last Friday 12/29 and while it was slammed due to closing, waits were forever, food orders not available, and running out of beer, it was still fun to say goodbye one last time to this classic "hole in the wall" If anyone is going to purchase the place be sure to let us know as you will have one loyal customer from day 1 and I would bet many more.

I ordered online and they didn't make half order my when I went to pick up my food. They rushed my food and didn't even give me the correct pizza or toppings. I feel dumb for tipping them anything.

Most people would say it's just a bar, and they would be right. But it means a lot to us. I used to come here before my shift at Motorola in 1995 and fell in love with it for no reason whatsoever. I brought every girlfriend I've dated since then for no reason other than sentimental value. Now I bring my wife and children every time we're in Chicago. The nachos are awesome, the Linguini Carbonara is to die for, plentiful and inexpensive. Drinks are cheap and the pours are decent.

Cool little bar and enjoyed playing a little golden tee. I give it this rating even though it's not the greatest inside because they have Heineken on draft. I've been across this entire country and very few bars have Heineken on draft.

This is a pretty chill place to hang. I have heard they have great food but I have not had the opportunity to try. Usually when I am there I'm having a good time with my friends outside in the fenced area where you can sit and smoke cigarettes. The owners are pretty neat guy, and the regulars are pretty fun. If you go during the day, bring your friends and family for food. This place is open till 2 a.m. so bring your friends.

This place is the definition of garbage food. Came here on Father's Day "was recommended by a friend." and I promise you will not be satisfied. Stay farrrrr away!

Came im because the top reviews all said they did pizza by the slice, guy at the door said maybe in the past but we dont anymore and tried to suggest i order a small personal pan pizza.
