I came to Illinois from Texas to visit my husband and he recommended us to come eat here. When he heard that they were closing he was quite devastated since this restaurant was a part of his childhood.We came to eat here on the last day before they closed, the food was really good, and the portions were hefty, but it was all worth eating :)They were also selling shirts! I just had to buy one as both a souvenir and a memory to remember! Thank you!

What's there to say that has not been said. This place is legendary and sad to see it close. Went last Friday 12/29 and while it was slammed due to closing, waits were forever, food orders not available, and running out of beer, it was still fun to say goodbye one last time to this classic "hole in the wall" If anyone is going to purchase the place be sure to let us know as you will have one loyal customer from day 1 and I would bet many more.

I ordered online and they didn't make half order my when I went to pick up my food. They rushed my food and didn't even give me the correct pizza or toppings. I feel dumb for tipping them anything.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This dive bar is the place where amazing eats meets great prices. More adult audience, than family. Booth, bar, and table seating. Two rooms of seating, circle bar available. Our server was really sweet, accommodating to anything we needed. She had a great attitude and very personable. Customer service was top tier. The wings deal is amazing, made exactly how I requested. I ordered all tossed in buffalo sauce with lemon pepper on top. In the South, we call them " ATL wings". Their cheese fries were interesting, recommend if you like that kinda thing. Really, it was just regular crispy cuts with nacho cheese sauce on the side. I love the drink menu as well, many deals outside of happy hour. Perfect friend date for me and my girl. This is one of our spots, for sure. Overall, the wings were amazing. Recommend those every time. If you are looking for an intimate place to catch up with your friends, this is the place for you. Best thing, you don't have to break the bank.

I brought every girlfriend I've dated since then for no reason other than sentimental value. Now I bring my wife and children every time we're in Chicago. The nachos are awesome, the Linguini Carbonara is to die for, plentiful and inexpensive. Drinks are cheap and the pours are decent.

Cool little bar and enjoyed playing a little golden tee. I give it this rating even though it's not the greatest inside because they have Heineken on draft. I've been across this entire country and very few bars have Heineken on draft.

the barbecue wings is the only good thing about the food but the service is horrible the workers are just rude and don't help much it's under staffed because nobody wanted to help us when we where waiting to order and when we finally got someone to help us he was just rude and I think he was being a little passive aggressive by slamming the menu because we had question about our food we where going to order

Usually when I am there I'm having a good time with my friends outside in the fenced area where you can sit and smoke cigarettes. The owners are pretty neat guy, and the regulars are pretty fun. If you go during the day, bring your friends and family for food. This place is open till 2 a.m. so bring your friends.
