Bought the Kona Coffee and Lemon cheesecake for a special dinner. Tasted good, but not worth the price in my opinion. The service was terrible. Young girl came out from behind the curtain and greeted me with “you need something� Not even a thank you at the end of the transaction. I won't be back.

Julie Ann's is a top notch ice cream parlor/DQ/Oberweiss-style place. When I use all of those ways to describe it, I mean it! You enter to their busy counter and ordering area with a small seating area in front of their large glass front. This first experience is a bit overwhelming and it would be great for them to pursue a new setup. However, I don't really know how they'd renovate to make that happen. That's the docking of the 5th star in my mind and many of my close friend's. Outside of the overwhelmingly clogged front entry, the entire experience is wonderful. The staff is kind and on top of things. Quick to provide you with a breakdown on any product they make, they know their stuff. I typically get their Peanut Butter Puppy Chow Concrete mixer. I have to say, Culvers doesn't stand a chance against this! It's the perfect blend of flavors married together in a concrete that is appropriately sized. My wife tends to rock the Raspberry Cheesecake Concrete. She loves the mix of chocolate sauce, raspberry chunks, and classic cheesecake with vanilla custard. We've been living in CL for 3 years and we have come to Julie Ann's as our staple custard venue on date nites, nights out with our 5 crazy kids, and double dates with friends. You won't be disappointed with this great local favorite.

My boyfriend and I stopped by over the summer, and were pleasantly surprised! This is a great spot for any foodies out there, and anyone that loves quaint ice cream shops with great service. I ordered a banana split sundae in a cup (see photo) and my boyfriend ordered a shake. He wasn't as thrilled as I was, but we agreed we will definitely be back in the future. The shop seemed clean and well kept, and they had a rather extensive menu. Another thing worth noting, they have Sprecher brand root beer on tap for their root beer floats!
