I’ve been a customer for 15 years with Silver Lake, during Covid the St. Charles restaurant closed down. So I’ve been going to the Roselle restaurant which is now Five Spice Kitchen. I have ordered the same thing for 15 years, twice a month. The high school girl who took my order put it down as the lunch special, I didn’t order the lunch special. Oh dear……I get it delivered & waited 2 hours, to find out, my order had been just sitting at the restaurant, the whole time. Needless to say, I told them to take it back. I tried a week later (yesterday), and received in 1 1/2 hours to find very mushy eggrolls, and not what I’ve always ordered in the past with the chow fun noodles. I called them, and they started yelling at me…and told me, they could not separate the noodles like they’ve ALWAYS done! YET they sell...read full review
Got the lunch special here today.. fried rice didn’t have much flavor and the sesame chicken had good flavor but was very very chewy seemed like it sat out for a while and overall the food was not warm but we loved the spring roll and the sauce that came with it. $23 for 2 lunch entrees. Probably wont be back.
