Sip, swirl, and savor our local Lynfred Winery
Reluctant to appreciate locally made wine, we were delighted to enjoy the beyond-quaffable varieties. With some grapes locally grown and many sourced from negociant vineyards around the world, this place offers opportunities to try dozens of varietals. Whether you fancy whites, reds, roses, or sparkling wines, there is something for everyone.
The tasting room space features gorgeous warm wood tones, creating a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is hospitable and kind. We love swinging by for a food truck and monthly glass pour with wine club pickup or an occasional special event meetup.
For those looking to extend their visit, there are charming local bed and breakfast accommodations nearby, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The winery's lower-level event space can accommodate approximately 200 guests, making it an ideal location for private events or gatherings.
So, whether you’re planning a romantic evening, a fun day out with friends, or just want to imbibe some amazing wines, we invite you to visit this gem of a winery. It’s a crowd-pleaser and a wonderful way to impress your friends while enjoying delightful sips and beautiful surroundings. Don’t miss out on the chance to make some wonderful memories here!

Bad wine worst atmosphere
Great atmosphere!! So many wines to choose from and the flavors change monthly!
Definitely recommend and will be returning
Cute little wine shop with awesome staff and wide selection of delicious affordable wines.
Very beautiful place, lots of flowers, well taken care landscaping.
Amazingly tasty cherry 🍒 wine!🍷
I hosted a beautiful wedding shower at the Lynfred Winery in Roselle for 40 people. The Event Manager, Laura, was outstanding! We spoke and met on several occasions and she was always positive, professional, and extremely informational. We held our event in their Wine Cellar and all guests commented on the spectacular building overall and the unique, stunning Wine Cellar. The food was very good and the wine was outstanding. And we had several wine connoisseurs at our party! I highly recommend this venue!
I want to start by thanking Laura. She was amazing. She went above and beyond to make the booking process easy. She personally checked up on us during our stay to ensure my spouse was having a good birthday experience. Our experience would not have been the same without her. The rest of the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive during our stay as well.
The Italian suites was everything and more. The photos do not do it justice. It was like you transcended into a different era. The bed and fireplace were amazing. The room had no TV which we loved. There was a reserved parking space in the back for us as well. The wine and experiences were excellent. We got two free bottles with our stay and an additional bottle from the staff as a “thank you”. The overall environment was accepting for all expertise levels and different types of people/occasions. It is a non tipping facility, but all tips go to charity. I loved that. The food was the icing on the cake for us. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will be back!
Went here for the first time with a friend. The staff was super welcoming, I LOVED the ambiance and the outdoor seating. And the wine was amazing! I would definitely recommend checking this winery out.
I visited this place because I wanted to try their wines. I live in Roselle, but I didn’t have time to visit. I wanted to come and sample their wines. They have great house wines that are well-known in Chicago.
I have always loved coming here! The gazebo is my favorite 😍 my family and I come here every June to celebrate my birthday for the last 7 years. This time we celebrated my birthday AND me passing the NCLEX. They have lots of seating inside and outside. However, not sure what's going on but they limit you to 2 pours per person /: otherwise I would give them a 5 star rating

Been wanting to visit this place forever, finally got to go and it was a dream come true! Adorable European vibe, delicious wine (bonus points for being very reasonably priced!)happy customers all around and very knowledgeable staff who all seemed to be delighted to serve. Felt like we left home and went very far away to a magical land when in reality all it took was a 15 minute drive. Can't wait to come back to experience all the seasons at this absolute gem <3
Wonderful ambiance and Wine. The Manager walked me through the history of the place and winery and all the machines. Such a lovely experience.
I visited the winery over the Memorial Day weekend for my birthday celebration. My friends and I went on the cellar tour and loved learning about Lynfred's history. We then ordered flights of wine and loved tasting and discovering the selected wines from the menu. We sat outside and the grounds are beautiful and charming. It was also easy to grab snacks from the mini fridge inside for purchase. I also love the smaller bottles of wines.
This was my first time and I had a wonderful experience. Thanks Lynfred and see you soon!
We stayed at the Lynfred Winery Bed & Breakfast in the American Suite and it was truly perfect. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail stood out—everything was immaculate. The suite was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. The bed (and even the pillows!) was unbelievably soft and luxurious—honestly one of the best night’s sleep we’ve ever had.
The linens felt high-end, adding an extra touch of comfort and class. We also loved the fresh flowers -they added such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. The wine was absolutely delicious, and breakfast the next morning was just as impressive—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.
We also couldn’t help but notice how well-kept the grounds and exterior were—the woodwork around the building was in beautiful condition and made the entire place feel warm and inviting. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and added to the laid-back, relaxing atmosphere of our stay.
If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with amazing wine, great hospitality, and top-notch accommodations, this place is a hidden gem.
They were sooo sweet serving us even when it was almost closing. We really appreciate it.
Such a cute place too! With plenty of parking and great selections of dessert wine and white wine.
Reasonable price as well..
