This is a family-owned restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The oysters-on-the-half-shell were some of the best we've ever had. The calamari was seasoned and fried to perfection. I had my fork in everyone's plate, and can highly recommend the chicken cacciatore, veal marsala, and Fruit Di Mare pasta. I have been to Rosario's over the years. The service has been very slow in the last year due to insufficient staff. The quality of the food is average, and the dishes are overloaded with sauce, making it difficult to taste the actual food.
Seating was very tight due to a party going on. There wasn't much room at the table or to get up. The food was good, not the best Italian I've had in the area but not bad either. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
