The wife and I were told about this place by a family member. We decided to give it a try. The food was delicious. I had some steak tacos and the wife had enchiladas. My dinner was very good, but the enchiladas my wife got were fantastic. Also, they had a small band playing some cover music. Both in English and Spanish. It was a nice little addition hearing the music while eating. Although I don't speak Spanish or understand what they were singing about, it was pleasant to listen to. Highly recommend checking it out. Was great for a date night!

Gave this location a try for the first time last night, and we were thoroughly impressed. Put in an order online for delivery, and it showed up promptly within an hour, which was exactly the time they said it would arrive. Ordered an appetizer sampler, a steak burrito dinner with fries, and a taco dinner with rice and beans. For the taco dinner, you can order 3 tacos and choose if you prefer flour or corn tortillas. I got one steak, one ground beef, and one al pastor on flour tortillas, all with cilantro and onions.
The steak burrito was delicious and filling and used very excellent quality steak. Every bite was a juicy explosion of well-seasoned and perfectly cooked tender steak with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The tacos were magnificent. Once again, they used great quality meats, well-seasoned, and expertly cooked. Every bite was nice and was a savory journey experienced thrice with each taco. The fries were crispy and delightful, and the rice and beans were decent and tasted like your standard Mexican rice and beans. The salsas that came with were also fantastic. Spicy, but not regretfully so.
Overall, it was a fantastic culinary experience, and we were delighted that we gave this location a shot, as we were left satiated and fulfilled. So come one, come all, and come give Sammy's Mexican Grill and Bar a go. You won't be disappointed. Cheers!

If you're looking for a place with a ton of Mexican flair and traditional decor, this is not it. However, if you're looking for delicious Mexican food, good service, and a clean environment this place has that! My husband likes his mezcal drinks, so he got the "Made in Mexico Margarita" and he said it was really good! I'm not drinking at the moment, so I got a virgin strawberry margarita - it was so tasty that I practically chugged it lol. The chips are crunchy and the salsa has a kick, but you can't stop eating either one. My husband got the "Sammy's Special Taco Dinner" with steak and chorizo and I got tostadas with refried beans since I'm vegetarian, and nothing was short of delectable! Everything hit the spot, including the refreshing Mexican coke. We will definitely be back!

Had this Diablo shrimp that was so awesome, but I was warned and didn't listen. It was soooooo hot! Wanted to sit out at the patio for a little bit of privacy, and then they sat this huge group with a bunch on real young kids running around and screaming all over the patio, so the atmosphere definitely took a hit for that.

My family and I were making runs out and about and were a little hungry, so we decided to stop by Sammy's for some Mexican Cuisine. It was our first visit, the weather was great, so we decided to dine on the patio. Now, I have to say I've had ceviche many times in different places, BUT this was the one that stood out the most! You can do a single, double, and triple trio!! I ordered the trio because I wanted to experience everything this had to offer. The flavor was so inviting and amazing. The seafood was fresh, and the texture was spot on. There is no doubt about it. This will be my favorite place for ceviche and margaritas.
