Good and service was fantastic!! I really hope this place sticks around. Complementary soup and salad and they bring the sushi on a boat! Reasonably priced and great food. Try dining in next time!!

We've gotten take-out three times now and the food is consistently hot and delicious, and prepared very quickly. Staff is friendly over the phone and at the front desk. We have closer options for Japanese food but Umai is SO worth the drive! Highly recommend!

Seem like a new place. Went there on a Saturday at 4:30. Only people in there apart from a few pick up orders. Server was friendly and attentive. Food was very good. Sushi was fresh with lots of choices. Kid had chicken Katsu and loved it. Had a soup and salad bar which was a bit weird. Would prefer this came from kitchen. Would recommend.

Restaurant needs to remove the Habachi from the name. They have no cooking stations but said they would prepare it in the kitchen. People eat Habachi for the experience! Otherwise, just order door dash and sit in your undies.... Just my 2 cents

I don't understand some of the negative reviews, only because we've never experienced any issues here.
The staff is incredibly nice and the service is great. When picking up for takeout, my order wasn't ready when I arrived so they provided free boba tea.
The soup and salad aren't the best I've had, but certainly not bad; pretty standard compared to what I've found out there. I order jalapeno bombs at every place that offers them, I've had a lot, and these are probably my favorite!
The sushi and rolls were all very good so I don't think you can go wrong with any direction you choose. Umai is your typical good, modern sushi restaurant. They also have a slightly separate table in back to accommodate large groups.

New place, just opened. The food and service were good. They have a very small soup and salad bar that's has miso soup and lettuce and a few veggies. It was practically empty, tho with not many choices. The ombiance is a bit "stark." It's kind of like an empty room with red walls and lots of tables. The sushi was fresh and good. I didn't care for the spicy salmon roll... it was boring and just ok. The presentation of all 3 rolls was excellent. Service friendly. I wish them luck. Not sure if I will return because I love my usual place more. I'm trying out the new place as I think everyone should.
