My cousin Randy and I ate at Smoke on the Ohio in early July after taking a road trip out of Evansville, IN and the food was awesome. There was one young lady who was the only waitress and she was busy as it was one pm, but she was very friendly and did a great job and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. I eat here often throughout the month for lunch. Their cheese balls w/ Ranch are amazing, my Favorite. Everything I've ever ordered from there has been delicious. Some of the service is bad just depends on the waitress that's there. There's usually only 1 waitress & 1 cook so take it easy of the rude comments about the workers. They're doing the best they can. Smoke on the Ohio is a good spot for a nice lunch, with a bit of a wait during busy times. The bacon cheeseburger is more like a smashburger, but tasty. The coleslaw is a standout dish. They offer plenty of parking options and are very kid-friendly, with generous portions of fried green beans and broccoli/cheese bites.
