“I think this is the best Popeyes in lake county and the safest to eat at. Clean atmosphere and convenient location. The only downside i would say is that when ordering the family box they put a lot of big back pieces in the box. Everything else about this place is great. Stay away from the Gurnee one unless you want to be sick. Round Lake is hands down the better one“

“I drove past this place for the last 16 years always meaning to try the chicken. Well today I did and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was delicious, so moist and crispy outside. Yes please. I got a 2 piece meal. Come with 2 sides and a biscuit. It was under 8.00. You just can’t beat that. And they have a drive thru!?! 16 years wasted. Now I know.“

“If you need something delicious to eat, while saving $ get their whole chicken (charbroil or rotisserie) - comes with 2 sides (i prefer rice and beans), veggies/peppers in vinegar, salsa, and your choice of warm/cold tortillas. Feeds a family. And it's delicious“

“There is always a lot of wait when it comes to this KFC. Sitting in here now and going on 20 minutes waiting for my 8 piece family meal. They are trying, and they put up with a lot of attitudes from angry customers waiting for a while. Seems that they just need better organization to handle busy times.“

“Amazing service! 2 Employees named Amparo and a girl with eyeliner,not sure of her name. But Amparo was so nice with her service and made sure i had everything, When i got my order the girl in eyeliner gave me the food with care and a smile. AMAZING food. The breasts were juicy, the fries were crispy. Although the mac and cheese was kinda bland.they could work on that but besides that the place was very clean,food was excellent, service was good. Definitely coming again!!Definitely deserve a raise!!?“

“Not all hero's get their stories told, sometimes, good deeds go unnoticed. The closing Crew of 08/28/24 were, are my heroes. The munchies were kicking in and decisions had to be made. Knowing old reliable is always there and is a constant hit, there really wasn't another place to go. Although there was a mess-up on the order- wanted 3 orders of Tenders but only got 1. I did not want to be those guys ordering food last minute before closing but there I was, at their mercy. When we figured out the order was wrong, they could had let me know they couldn't fulfill it, that it was too late, maybe even the kitchen close or the McDonalds way out, "The ice cream machine is broken" although you didn't order ice cream. But no, this isn't McDonalds and this isn't your average crew. The lady who took my order, who had provided some whip cream for my puppy, rolled up her sleeves and commanded her troops for one last task of the night. My order was taken, although hatred was in the air, completely understandable, she rallied her troops and completed the order. Going above and being the call.
The service they provided, the atmosphere they had, although they were deep in the trenches, they did not fold. I survived the munchies but it wouldn't had been able to without, again, The Legendary Crew of 08/28/24.
I owe you guys one for coming through, I tip my hat to you guys and little snooky, who took my order.
They deserve a raise, much more than this praise.

“I go here usually when I am in Waconda. If I don’t grab a dinner for my family and I, I always grab one piece of chicken. Their food is always hot and fresh. The thing I like most though is the customer service there. Everyone’s nice, but I’ve grown very attached to one of the employees who I always have waiting on me. His name is Cole and he works the Drive Up window and, the inside register. He’s very polite and considerate and helpful. And when he graduates from high school, and goes to college we will have a new EMT in the area. Which I can guarantee with his personality and kindness he will make a fine addition to any town. So needless to say if you go to Kentucky fried chicken, make sure you say hi to Cole and if you have any questions, even if they’re in another language, he’ll try to help you. This is something I witnessed firsthand with him the other day. He took his time to work with a man and the language app on the phone to help out the customer. So go have some chicken and say hello to Cole!!!!“

“I called and asked a question about ordering online and ended up just ordering over the phone. Arrived in the time I was given (10 min). The food was just finished being bagged up. I talked to the gentleman behind the counter about the pot pies. All the food ordered was hot and well packaged. The pot pie was awesome! The crust - he said was homemade and it wow it was so flaky and great tasting. The inside of the pot pie was tender and had a great flavor also.. chunks of veggies and chicken. Very good I will definitely have again! I’ve always received great, friendly service and hot and fresh food at this location.“
