Chicken Restaurants near Mchenry

“New China is hands down the best chinese food in Mchenry and surrounding areas. I’ve been ordering here for years. They have been closed for a month or so, (believe the owners went on vacation) but they have reopened and are not messing around. I ordered their general tsos with pork fried rice and eggroll and it is some of the very best. So good i had to finally give them the review they deserve and this is my first review i’ve ever wrote, normally don’t care to. Affordable, amazing flavor and quality and authentic; what more could you ask for.“

“I haven't been here in a while but was really craving some chicken. I did a mobile order through the app, which has changed since the last time. Everything was relatively easy, including earning some rewards. I really like the way they remodeled the inside. Everything was ready on time and accurate.“

“Service was excellent tonight. Polite, and took the time to listen and repeat everything back, then confirmed everything again when he was handing it out at the window. Order was accurate and food quality was good. Not amazing but good enough for fast food with flavor.My kids used to love this place but we stopped going here about 2 yrs ago because it was so bad I actually threw one order in the trash when I got home because it was so terrible. The new staff another reviewer mentioned must have turned it around because after tonight, i will go back again.“

“I go here usually when I am in Waconda. If I don’t grab a dinner for my family and I, I always grab one piece of chicken. Their food is always hot and fresh. The thing I like most though is the customer service there. Everyone’s nice, but I’ve grown very attached to one of the employees who I always have waiting on me. His name is Cole and he works the Drive Up window and, the inside register. He’s very polite and considerate and helpful. And when he graduates from high school, and goes to college we will have a new EMT in the area. Which I can guarantee with his personality and kindness he will make a fine addition to any town. So needless to say if you go to Kentucky fried chicken, make sure you say hi to Cole and if you have any questions, even if they’re in another language, he’ll try to help you. This is something I witnessed firsthand with him the other day. He took his time to work with a man and the language app on the phone to help out the customer. So go have some chicken and say hello to Cole!!!!“

“This is the first time I’ve went to a Popeyes and got great service, fresh hot food and clean environment. Got my food in ten minutes. I ordered 10 pc family meal and 14 pc tender meal. Christine and her coworker got me in and out in 10 minutes. Christine was very friendly. Greeted me, thanked me and I wish all Popeyes had service like this.“
