Love coming here! I’m originally from Palatine, and most Mexican restaurants here in Round Lake suck. Tacos el Norte is great. Affordable and delicious. My family and I love coming here. Service is always great as well. Our favorites are La mojarra frita, fajitas, alambre, tacos de lengua, French fries lomo en chile de árbol, and tacos de cecina.
We ordered carryout and it was not a great experience, that being said we decided to try it again based off of several recommendations. We are so glad we did. Food was amazing. Waitresses were on top of refills. Great atmosphere, only downside is you have to pay for chips and salsa but they were really good so I guess it balances out in the end.
