I ordered the rice which I wrongly assumed was going to be Mexican rice, however what I received was plain white rice covered in what tasted and looked like ketchup, topped with nacho cheese. Will never eat here again. Idk how this is considered a Mexican restaurant.

I'm not sure what this is, but it's definitely not a Mexican restaurant. The best way I've come up with to describe the food we had is this... it's like somebody from the Midwest who has only seen pictures of Mexican food, tried to make Mexican food. The food wasn't terrible, it just wasn't Mexican. The salsa was more like ketchup. I tried all three levels of spiciness and there was basically no difference between them. Even the so called spicy salsa had no detectible heat to it.

My opinion may be unfair due to me living in Houston my whole life....but here goes. I tried a taco salad and it looked like something that my 10yr old would make. Looking at the food that other people were ordering I'd say that the culinary art part is really missing. This place has no salsa, no guacamole and no Mexicans!!! I miss you Texas

I've been going here my entire life, I'm 16 now and my mom came here all the time while pregnant with me. It's a place that'll always be special to us just because, I 10/10 reccomend this place because their tacos are absolutely delicious. I live a bit aways in vandalia illinois and I can say it's worth the drive, I'd do anything for their tacos because the amount of cravings I get for their tacos is astronomical.
