The owner and staff are super nice and chill and they make good food. The owner is also working with his staff, doing the same job they are, a good amount of the time I go there. Place is refreshing, relaxing, and quiet.”

“We really enjoyed our dinner! We ordered jalapeno cheese curds good but lil spicy for us. New York strip steamed broccoli 🥦, ribeye loaded mashed potatoes (lil lumpy but i liked them), we both had the salad bar (whichis fantastic). Steaks were flavorful and cooked perfectly (med rare)! We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊”

“This is the real thing. Best Italian food I have ever had. Cozy little restaurant that is clean as can be and the server was just great. This girl really can multitask when taking care of the customers. The portions are generous, and the prices very reasonable. So glad we stopped there and will definitely return next time we are in Salem.”

“Fantastic experience at Salem Pour House! I was visiting from out of state and instantly felt welcomed by the inviting atmosphere and friendly vibes. The bartenders were amazing—super attentive, personable, and incredibly helpful in offering tips and recommendations for someone new to the area. A great spot all around!”

“First time going here, mom thought of this place and I decided to try it. I'd say it's pretty good.

We ordered dine-in and ordered fried mushrooms and a medium meat lovers pizza. Those fried mushrooms are HUGE—they're portobello mushrooms cut up into slices and deep fried. They tasted great.

For the pizza, that wasn't my favorite thing in the world. The sauce was very sweet and left a bit of a taste in my mouth, not really a big fan of either. Also not the biggest fan of thin crust either, and the cheese kept falling off when I tried to eat it.

One thing I don't like is when workers bring their kids to work. Yes, they may not have a babysitter, and it may give them a real-world experience, but I just don't like it.

Alas, the food was pretty good, but just not a big fan of the pizza sauce or the servers. However, the service was still good. 4/5!”

“Found out yesterday that if you order online you don't get to choose when you want it to be ready. Salem Subway made sure my food was fresh and not sitting there for 4 hrs waiting for me to get off work. Thanks team!”

“Best Mexican food in town! Their tacos and pretzels are just amazing for it being here in the middle of no where Illinois, definetly one of my favorite places in my whole area. The service is genuinely awesome they’ve never gotten my orders wrong and they’re always happy to help! The atmosphere is nice it’s the best they can do with what they have and I respect them for making the most out of it!

Vegetarian options: there is none I don’t think you’d have to ask or look.

Dietary restrictions: it’s not vegan and I don’t know if they do have vegan options or not, if you have any certain allergies than just ask because they will certainly help you.

Parking: just good general parking, quite a few places to park at

Kid-friendliness: Every time I go to Chico’s theres always a family with kids there playing as there are kids toys in the restaurant, as well as gumball and other machines as well as out-door seating for the kids to have fun in the rocks or whatever

Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs or anything; smooth pavement. Should be easy to access but I would just drive thru.”

“Decent prices, everything is made when ordered, got our order out in a decent amount of time. Finally, some crispy fries! Perfect fries, crinkle cut, prefect color, perfectly crispy! Order a double cheeseburger, double hamburger, chicken strips, regular fries, and cheese fries. All was very good, although the burgers could have been even better with a little seasoning, but still good! We also ordered a Caramel Sunday, and a chocolate ice cream! Way better than Dairy Queen hands down! If the burgers had a touch if seasoning, this would definitely be a 5 star! So close, I wish there was a half star i would give a 4.5”

“It opens on Christmas! The price is good and there are decent kinds of food. Majority of their food is a bit salty, so if you do not eat a lot of salt, that would be not so good.”
