“Stopped in on a long day on the road. Place was packed...so the food is great to locals too. Had a margarita and beer along w dinner. Did a combo plate and the 3 mini chimichangas, both plates were great. Great interior decoration, dont take my word for it, outside is inside.“
“I've been going here my entire life, I'm 16 now and my mom came here all the time while pregnant with me. It's a place that'll always be special to us just because, I 10/10 reccomend this place because their tacos are absolutely delicious. I live a bit aways in vandalia illinois and I can say it's worth the drive, I'd do anything for their tacos because the amount of cravings I get for their tacos is astronomical.“
“I enjoyed my Mexican pizza. It was full of ingredients and fresh. The soft tacos were very good also. The cheese roll-up needed Pico inside.The service was great. I gave 3- stars based on the fact that not everyone, i.e., senior citizens, understands this feature. Perhaps having a dedicated employee to assist elders would be conducive to the overall experience.The restrooms were spotless and had no foul odors.Overall, this unit appears to run well, and I highly recommend it.“
“La Cocina is among the best Mexican restaurants in the area. The service is very good. Most of the wait staff speak poor English but it doesn't create any issues because they know their menu and they take their time helping you sort it out.The atmosphere and food are true to a traditional Mexican experience.We eat there on Saturdays a lot. Great margaritas ?“
