“This was actually a surprise. If you look on Google you will see the advertisement for Puerto Vallarta, so we routed toward that restaurant and we ended up at our destination which was Maria's Taco House. Well Puerto Vallarta and Maria's are side by side Maria's is kind of more of a Taqueria in Puerto Vallarta has a little bit more of a bar and food environment. Both lovely the food at Maria's was fantastic but I'll tell you what was really good they have in-house made salsa verde and a red sauce. The Red sauce has just a tiny bit of spice to it it tastes so good I ended up buying a bottle to take home come spend your money here these people are working hard and they make fantastic food“
“The people here are really great, friendly, and the food just tastes amazing. There's really nothing else to say. If you're looking for a good dine-in Mexican-American restaurant, and you're in the Effingham area, then this is the place.“
“Had the tacos de asada(told not to add cheese): great flavor come with a tortilla chip bowl filled with a cup of refried beans with cheese on top. The beans had great flavor, but the cheese had the flavor of cheap cheese almost like the one from WIC.“
“Wife and I came here SPECIFICALLY to meet the owner/operator. Sadly, she was our. But the food was in! And boy was it good!! People tell me I have a big mouth, but even I had to nibble to eat the burrito! Think powder charge for a Howitzer! And not just muy grande, but so good you best not take ya momma! I swear I wished I was single after that first bite (the wife and were sharing)! Lol. Just kidding... probably. Mango-rita was super smooth and the perfect pair with the dip trio platter (guacamole and pico were just, ? ?).Long story, I know. TLDR: DANG GOOD!! GOING BACK SOON! Maybe I can finally meet the owner!“
“I came here for the first time, and it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been too, good food, friendly staff, ESPECIALLY Juan. This place needs to give that man a raise. He’s so friendly and even taught me a few Spanish words. He grew my interest in learning Spanish because of how much he interacted with to not just me but my friends kid who just LOVED all the new Spanish words she learned. He’s very sweet and always smiling. Best waiter I ever had in my life. We love you Juan!!!Kid-friendliness: Juan knows all about kid friendlinees!!Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a little ramp beside the door for wheelchairs!“
