We're always traveling up and down I 57 thru Illinois and forever in search of a good Chinese restaurant. Well, we finally found one. We were driving home to Kentucky and did a Google search of upcoming restaurants and China King Buffet appeared. We stopped in and had a very good lunch..$33.50 for two buffets and two soft drinks isn't really bad in today's economy. We both filled up on two plates so we skipped dessert but there is ice cream available. Highly recommend if you're in the salem area.

The food was cooked fresh and everything was delicious! They had a lovely Sushi bar, I don’t eat it but it looked very fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

This is the saddest place to eat!!! With only three dishes that you can eat without gagging!!! Don't forget the up charge with every chance they get so make sure you pay and take a good look before you sit down to eat!!! Trust me don't eat the fried rice or egg rolls or sweet and sour chicken you take your chances with the fish and the stale fortune cookies! They tried to charge us $54.99 for two adults and a child ($13.99 each +two drinks and $5ish in tax) after a slight conversation it turned out half off and still not worth it!

This China buffet is one of the best Chinese buffets I've had. The chicken is cooked perfectly. It's nice and tender and full of flavor. Their Honey Chicken has got to be the best I've had as well. I definitely recommend this Buffet.

It provides fresh food with any choice that you can enjoy, such as fish, noodle, sushi, meat, vegetables, and fresh fruit. All you can eat.
