Was taking my mother in law home and planned on stopping in Salem for lunch. I like to find out where the locals eat when I travel and the reviews for Chucks Place were good so we decided to try it, it did not disappoint. It's ok to inconsistent. I have had great burgers, burnt burgers and extremely greesy burgers. Burgers came plain and I had to pay quite a bit extra for toppings and got very little toppings on the Burgers. Service has been great and always has been. Onion rings need drip time very greesy as well. I brought them home hoping my air fryer would dry them out but didn't work. Oh well my loss.

The food was good, the atmosphere was comfortable at a moderate price. You might have to remind them that you are there, and that your drinking coffee, once in awhile though.
