“It’s difficult to find anything negative to say about Dave’s! It was our first visit and we were quite impressed. The food… well it was the star for sure!We ordered ‘Hot’ which is near the top of their spice-levels offered. Found it indeed HOT and yet so flavorful, which is what sometimes disappears with other places spicy choices.Dave’s flavor stayed intact with the heat!French Fries were crispy outside and fluffy and “meaty” inside. Excellent!Kale-slaw was new to me, but is virtually the same as Coleslaw and Dave’s is a great accompaniment to the spice, with nice cool bites. Pickles were perfect as well…The staff greeted us as we entered and were polite throughout our stay. They even came out to the table to check on us.The atmosphere is bright and new, somehow feels exactly fitting for the food being served. Can’t wait to visit again… soon!!“
“Best fast food in Champaign/Urbana. You can tell the owner/operator is there. You get nothing but smiles, quick service and no attitude. Laugh at the people in the portillos line across the street as it crawls at a snails pace while Chick Fil A whirlwinds the cars through. I've waited in portillos line for 40min+ with 3 cars ahead of me. They are AWFUL! Go here instead, you'll thank me later.“
“Had a lovely first visit to Casa Margaritas tonight! We had a party of 7 that was easily handled, which was awesome! A few ordered margaritas and they all proclaimed them to be excellent- we got a half pitcher of lime and half pitcher of mango. Started with some queso dip and chips and salsa, and then I ordered a chicken Fajita Quesadilla. You may see from the photo that there was cheese on the outside, which was quite, well, cheesy! The menu was longer than that first page, but I'll have to come back to photograph it. The interior was very colorful with lots of "Margaritaville" signage, but clean and friendly. Check it out if you want a tasty marg!“
“I ate here for the first time last week, and since I have to go to Champaign once a week now, I plan on eating there again tomorrow. I have never had such good chicken fingers in my whole life. And the sauce is to die for. I can't place the flavor that it has. There is a certain ingredient that I recognize in it but can't place what it is. Regardless, it's amazing, and I can't wait to go back. It's so busy in there because it's so good ? I would give this place more than 5 stars ? if I could, but unfortunately, it won't let me. I can't believe how many times I've been to Champaign and missed out on eating here. It's affordable too for the amazing taste you get.“
“You've heard the hype? We'll believe it! Incredibly fast and pleasant service and the best prepared chicken strips in CU. Great crunch and very moist. I'm glad I waited in drive through - it was definitely worth the anticipation. I'll be back. Plus they're open until 2am!“
“This honestly has some of THE BEST Korean Fried Chicken I have ever had. I have dined here 3 times already, and this is my experience. The best flavor is the Honey Garlic. Hands down. Do yourself a favor and pass in the Cheeseling. It tastes like the cheese powder in Kraft Mac n Cheese but just overly sweet and messy. The powder gets all over your lips, lap, and shirt and not really in your mouth. The amount of Cajun Fries you get is AMAZING for the price. For $5.95 you get an entire bag full of fries, I would estimate it the about 2-3 times the size of a McDonald's Large. The chicken itself have be meh. When it's juicy and tender and crispy, it is sooooo heavenly. But sometimes I have gotten some super dry pieces that make it super hard to bite and chew. The consistency is not always there. But I do appreciate that the flavor, texture, and taste reflect the fact that is is real chicken. Not that processed stuff from fast food chains. I haven't had a chance to experiment with side yet, but so far I can say that the pickled radish is a pass. I ordered it once for $1.95 or $2.95 and it had the most chemical-like after taste. It tasted like it was from a jar, but a realllly old and low quality jar. I'm not too picky in my pickled radish, but I had to throw it out after 2 bites just because I was afraid of getting sick. One thing that I would say that would be a great addition is the ability to get multiple flavors in your chicken order. If we were to order a 16 piece, it would be nice to ask for 8 of one flavor and 8 of another. Also the lunch special is not that great of a deal. $14.99 for 6 pieces and a small side of fries and a canned drink it not that great when you consider than an 8 piece is about $12 and a side of fries is $6 and you get about 4-5 times the amount you would in the lunch special.“
“I had the chicken bowl and it was OK. But it was not very warm. My friend had chicken tenders and fries and the tenders were cold and tough and so were the fries. It was like they were left over and not fresh. The bowl was not hot enough to melt the cheese. Like it was left on the warmer before they added the cheese and the cheese would not melt when I stirred the bowl up every thing was very cold. I don't think I will come back to this KFC for a while.“
