Got some food to go from here and it was really good. Tried their beef and chicken shawarma and loved both. It was pretty empty when I got here in the afternoon and I had no wait time or issue with ordering over the phone and picking up.

We were looking for a Mediterranean restaurant and were driving by, so decided to try this place out. Ordered Shawarma wraps of various kinds and some falafel and Baba Ghanoush. The restaurant had 2 rooms full of tables. The rooms lack atmosphere/decor, so if you are looking for that, you will be disappointed. The rooms are just places to sit and eat. Service was courteous but seemed to be slow considering only 2 tables were occupied. The food was very good and made up for the slow arrival. Overall, decent experience, I would go again but not as a sit-down restaurant but as a take out place.

This is truly authentic Mediterranean restaurant run by a great and wonderful family. Service would get 10 stars from us if we had more stars. Food served very fast and the flavors were delicious. They also serve Persian coffee and tea. Come try them, you will love it !

Tried Ali Baba Kabab in Schaumburg based on the good reviews, but it ended up being a letdown. The only real positive was the lady at the counter—she was polite and helpful.
The food, though, just wasn’t good. The falafel tasted old and clearly wasn’t fresh. The chicken burgers were dry with low-quality buns and thin patties. A lamb dish that was recommended had a big portion of meat (which was tender), but the rice was bland and lacked flavor. One wrap was decent, but only because it was customized with hummus.
They serve large portions, but that didn’t make up for the quality. Fries were basic, and there weren’t the usual fresh sides you'd expect at a Mediterranean spot—no salads, no pickles, nothing.
They also seemed short-staffed. The men’s restroom was out of toilet paper and still wasn’t restocked by the time we left, even after we told someone.
Overall, not a place I’d go back to or recommend. Plenty of better halal options in the area.
