If you like custard and don't mind waiting in a long line, you'll do no better than Andy's. Service is always friendly. The menu changes throughout the year so if you're looking for something more than a hot fudge Sunday, there's always something exciting to try. There is a drive through and off you go at peak times you can expect it to wrap around the building. There are no indoor seats,(hence a low atmosphere score from me) so expect to either sit on some outdoor beaches, in your car, or get it to go.

I have been really disappointed in this location lately. Andy’s was one of my favorite places to go but the workers have become unpleasant. They never hear or get the orders right. We go two different nights a few days apart and the first time they don’t hear the size right and the second time they gave the wrong size on my boyfriends so I’m not sure if it was a new person that maybe was unsure of what a small was but it was like mini size we received the second time. As for mine, I asked for strawberry banana and whoever made it put one big chunk of banana at the very very bottom with the rest being plain strawberry. Of course we had asked them to lid and bag it up both times so we didn’t know right away of the mistakes but it’s unfortunate. Hopefully they improve soon…

Got a big order here, then was thirsty for some water so i went to get 2 water cups he said we change for water here, they wanted to charge me for water from the tap. I have gotten water before here and they did not charge me.

This location is so bad. I have attempted 5 times since it opened and God awful every time. Elgin Andy's has always been the best thing on this planet. The chocolate custard at this location in Schaumburg has consistently been hard, grainy, bitter, everything opposite of the quality and caliber you get every single time without thought at Andy's in Elgin. Ever since trying Andy's frozen custard years ago (I've been living in Elgin since 2007) in Elgin, I have never been able to enjoy frozen treats from anywhere else. they set the bar too high. This newer and much much lesser location does not live up to its standards. Considering that Andy's only has 2 varieties of custard and one of those two I dare to say may not even be qualified to call food but perhaps a method of torture. If you want Andy's frozen custard keep driving to Elgin or just forget this location exists, they don't serve authentic "Andy's Frozen Custard" in Schaumburg.
They have a good number of varieties. Little expensive in my opinion.
