Nice place. Modern vibe with traditional Polish food. Our table had pierogi as a starter and they were tasty and the dough was good. My wife has been making them for over seven decades, so I have a feel for them. I had the Highlander cutlet, very tasty, crips, but tender. Pork hock buttery soft, beef goulash with potato pancakes great.
Editing, as I appreciate the response ( and I agree calling the police was pointless; and not done by me) I appreciate the owner taking action.. and as stated before..Food great; service great.. why the 1 star review.. well let me explain.. I’ve never felt taken so advantage of .. I booked a party there .. my guest were served the drinks were just brought to the table , and their bouncer tells my guests to get get out… I politely asked him to not speak to my guests.. he tells me to get out of his face .. ps I was not in his face .. never mind that I just spent a few thousand there.. I feel taken advantage of for the drinks as you would think there would be some kind of discount when you have a party of 40 some guests. but that’s my own fault .. I was a long time customer, I feel taken advantage of and the whole ending of the night just made it a bad experience..the owner should not allow her staff to speak to guests this way.( if it was never allowed her bouncer would have never spoke to us like that) . it will probably take me some time if i ever return.. there are other places who’s food and service is great, and no one tells your guests to get out..honestly regret booking out event there.

The food seemed tasty, but it left me with severe stomach pain and diarrhea. Therefore, if someone is used to healthy and fresh meals, I do not recommend Bacowka or most Polish restaurants in general.

Amazing food and even greater service! Servers are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for an enjoyable time in a nice atmosphere. Guests are generously greeted with a complimentary "smalec" (lard), bread, and pickles. Large portions of tasty food and some exciting cocktail options! The Hungarian potato pancake, Polish plate, and highlanders cutlet are particularly tasty. They have some great options for specials, too! This is a good place for an outing with friends and family, for a date, and even larger parties. Beautiful interior and they even have a patio for the summer time. The restaurant tends to get busy on the weekends, but this is because the food is made fresh that many want to enjoy. Overall, this is a great place to get a taste of Polish food and culture, and to have a fun time!

We have been here at least 5-6 times, the food is always good but the service is never good. We warn our friends to be prepared to wait. The last time however was the worst, we arrived on a Sunday around 5pm, the place was busy when we came in, we waited maybe 5 minutes to be seated. So no biggie, we waited awhile for the waitress to finally take our drink order, then we ordered food. We got our drinks, we asked for water 3 or 4 times, then, One person finally received her food first, and it wasn’t quick at least 20-30 minutes, then I said well now we wait, so we did, another 15-20 minutes, the waitress apologized there was a mix up in the kitchen. I told our friends prior we would be hearing that, we said ok and we laughed. We got our food it was decent as always. The place at that point was not packed, empty tables upstairs and downstairs, but we started looking around and it seemed like every table was getting their food sporadically. They somehow need to train and reorganize their wait staff and kitchen, yes we will come back in a few months, but we do go out often to restaurants and for this place you need to be prepared that the service is just not good no matter where you sit, downstairs, upstairs or outside. The food is however.

Was there with a large group recently. Bread and an unfamiliar looking spread with pickles greeted us, but no plates to be found. It took a while to get plates. After appetizers, the food took forever. She forgot a couple of soups and had to be reminded. Took a while to replenish waters. Main plates arrived at different times with a few waiting 20 plus minutes while others were almost done with their plates until the rest received theirs. My plate was good (Traditional Cutlet), while others had complained of no seasoning. There was no real butter with the bread, just a substitute spread. The waitress looked at my wife like she was crazy when she asked for (real) butter for the bread. The desserts said scoops of ice cream with them on the menu, but whipped milk came out (not sweetened) so I wouldn't call it whipped cream. Also, the live music was too loud. When the guy took a break, it was easier to hear people.
Came here on a Sunday was told there is a 20 min wait time we ended up waiting 40 mins for a table. Got a table right next to the speakers where a person was live singing, music was full blown so loud you cannot hear a word another person says. Asked the waitress if the volume can be lowered she said no. Im not sure who wants to eat dinner on a Sunday with full blown music playing but we weren’t the only ones complaining and nothing was done about it. Appetizer moscole were good but it was brought out after our dinner. There was 7 of us and they forgot to bring one of us our plate after I asked them 2 times that we are missing one dinner after waiting for about 20 mins we canceled the dinner plate and asked for the bill. Place had no one in charge that day it was such a mess such a bad first experience at this place.

If you want to come here with a big party, DO NOT!!!! We came here to celebrate a birthday party with 10+ people and were seated next to the live music, which was EXTREMELY loud and made it difficult for all of us to hear the waitress and others around us.Service was not good at all, food took 30+ minutes to come out and one of the dishes was forgotten and came out a whole another half hour later. Waitress did not bother to relieve us of our dirty dishes, which were piled high, and only came periodically for water pitchers.Atmosphere was overwhelming, the live music was too much, especially since we were seated right next to it. I left with my ears ringing.Food was okay, portions were decent. We ordered a dessert that was supposed to be icecream scoops on top of a waffle, took 30 minutes to come out and when it did they forgot to bring us silverware. The dish did not even include ice cream but instead it was some unsweetened, textured cream on top of some toaster waffle. Waitresses gave some attitude, do NOT recommend.

This restaurant is beautiful and modern. Food was good but potatoes for my kids were served cold. Wait time was horrible, we waited almost 2 hours for the food to be served. Waitress never came asking if we need more drinks, water or anything else. This place seems to be very busy and they dont have enough stuff to run fast and smooth.
