My daughter and I enjoyed a really yummy gluten free authentic German meal here tonight. Can't wait to go back!
The food and service was very good. I have leftovers enough for 2 meals. The tomato cucumber salad, with beets and 3 bean salad was refreshing, especially on a cold January day.
Lovely place, nice feel, great traditonal music, and the food is just perfect, just the way my oma would make. Love this place.
Amazing family owned German restaurant. It's also the only one I know of that offers a huge gluten free menu, from strudel to desserts. We make out way here from the city as often as we can.
Ordered the Christmas cookies. The presentation was great and the cookies were delicious. They were all gone by the evening on Christmas. Gingerbread men were the best.
Great food! Large portions!
Was almost driven away by the bad reviews but I was instead left very confused about all the 1 stars. People don't seem to understand good german food and realize how hard it must have been on this restaurant during Covid. I came Saturday night and there were only 2 other couples there. The reviews warned me of unfriendly staff but the staff was incredibly sweet if you had the decency to be polite to them. Food was extraordinary. Everything ordered was warm fresh homemade german food and tasted delicious. Prices were expensive but i later decided that the food was worth every cent. It was a 30 minute drive to try this place and I will be returning.
This place was very good. Food was amazing You get large portions for what you pay for.
The owner is from Germany, and you can tell, she can cook. She is a little grouchy, but some Germans are like that, so don't be offended. The food is outstanding.I definitely will come back if I am in the area
Craving perfect German food? Head over to Bavaria Hof to indulge in all your favorite German dishes. I was craving Wiener Schnitzel and spatzle - wow - I've never had it better here in the States. The shnitzel was just the right kind of thin, it was lightly breaded and pan-fried just enough to cook the meat and give the breading a light-brown patina. Added a squeeze of fresh lemon and went to heaven. The spatzle was also a best-ever experience - obviously prepared from scratch, cooked well but not rubbery, beautifully seasoned gravy - as good as it gets. The salad plate of cukes, toms, beets and green beans was a delicious medley of healthy delights. The service was humble, yet spot on - attentive without being intrusive. Having lived in southern Germany for a time, I can finally say I've found a place that serves up the old-school German food I can't help but love.

Excellent food and service.
Water has more taste. I'm German and this was an insult. Won't order from here again
Was there tonight with my son, and this place did not disappoint! Food was fantastic, we will definitely be visiting again.
