Big Bowl Schaumburg

I got there right when they opened and sat at the bar and thought it might speed things along. I new what I wanted and ordered right away and had an app and then one of the new lunch bowls. The egg rolls came soon but it took a while for the bowl to come. I was there for over an hour for lunch and it was due to the bowl time. Food was very good. Egg rolls are the best and the bowl had a lot of veggies in it and not much rice.

Service was slow, boring and inattentive. Had to flag our server down when we needed something.

Big Bowl isn't the cheapest chinese/asian restaurant but the quality is consistently good. And when you tell them they ensure that there are no allergiycross contaminations. Great time>

I ordered the make your own stir fry, shrimp teriyaki, brown rice. The veggies were under cooked and some were cold. The sauce was a little spicy, which I don't remember it being spicy at all. I don't like spicy. Otherwise, the shrimps were great and service was great.

Always a good time for us as a family there! Food is excellent! Service is beyond amazing! Our favs are the peanut noodle, lettuce wraps, and edamame for apps. The main was a make your stir fry with kung pao chicken and pad Thai which I would maybe just do with white rice next time. Another great dish is the green curry with chow fun noodles and chicken!

I believe there is shortage in staff That is the reason no one came to take our order till 30 mins. Once he was there everything went very smoothly. Server was very nice and courteous.

Food was good and came to the table hot for a change! Didn't like where we sat. Oh well....

Love that the Stir Fry bar is back! Waiter was not overly friendly and did not smile much.

We ordered 3 martini's, a beer, and appetizers. The appetizers came, no drinks. The server apologized and said she did not know how to make them, was waiting for help. My wife had to get up and find a manager to help our poor server.....need a full time bartender.........

Good food, but issue with our bill. It was supposed to be our anniversary dinner with a complimentary dessert, but due to a billing issue, they ended up charging us for the dessert. BTW-the chocolate layer cake was fabulous!!

Waitress was attentive and food was good. Poke Bowl and orange chicken were good. If you are used to large portions and a big eater you may be disappointed with the portions. The desserts especially.

I am devastated to be writing this review. Big Bowl Schaumburg has been one of my favorite spots for years. I've ordered the orange chicken at least 15 times, with over 10 Uber Eats orders alone. It's always been crispy, sticky, citrusy, and bright orange with a generous row of vegetables, absolute perfection. But what happened on Father's Day completely ruined not just the dish but my trust in this place forever. I took my single mother, who raised me alone, out for a special meal. We both ordered the orange chicken, expecting the usual. But what came out was unrecognizable; pale, soggy chicken, not even remotely crispy, with a watery brown sauce that had no flavor, and barely any vegetables. We politely raised our concern to our server, who then got the general manager. And that's where things turned from disappointing to disgusting. Joel, the general manager, approached us with an attitude before we even said a word. I calmly explained that we've ordered this dish many times and this was not the same. He immediately shut us down, saying “This is our classic orange chicken.” I clarified again, gently, and instead of listening, Joel told us we were wrong and he would bring the exact same dish again just to prove his point. Then, with the most condescending tone, he looked us dead in the face and said, “Don't even try to complain when they come out the same.” We were shocked. My mother and I stared at each other. We even asked, “Would you prefer we just leave?” And this man said, “Yes.” A general manager telling two calm, respectful guests, including a mother spending her Father's Day alone, to leave, simply for giving feedback. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect and arrogance. Joel's behavior was disgraceful, aggressive, and unprofessional beyond belief. Big Bowl, do better. You lost two loyal customers that day.

Great food and great service every time I've been to Big Bowl. The menu is always just extensive enough to where I do not feel overwhelmed and yet have a good amount of options. I really appreciated that they had a separate gluten free menu. Overall awesome experience.

Servers are nice and accommodating. Food options are great! Happy Hour options are good,. I do wish happy hour was from 3-6pm not 3-5pm.

We had a party at five. The food was amazing. It was our first time there. The server helped us order our food, which was extremely helpful. We had a great experience. Looking forward to coming back again.
