I was very exited to eat from this restaurantAfter ditching a fast american chinese food place thinking lets get something better.Green curry was a no flavor. All you can taste was spicy and bitter. No salt, definitely can taste any ginger and or lemongrass in this so called "CURRY" my wife's dish same thing.... wasted a little over $50. Ended up getting back to fast american Chinese for half the price and better flavored. 2 stars just to be nice service was cute.

Big bowl has been our favorite and they are still the best in terms of food and service.

Loved the ambiance and service. Vegetable wonton soup was so bland however the stir fry was delicious.

Food was good, however be mindful the mixed drinks had too much ice.

Update:Despite emailing the below mentioned email, no one replied or reached out so far.Dined in at the Schaumburg location after so many years but the food (both Kung Pao Chicken & cashew chicken) was too salty. The kids sesame chicken was too sweet. Not sure if it is just a one off occurrence but would rather visit the Lincolnshire location where we’ve consistently gotten a great dining experience.

We've been a few times...today the service was slow and my lunch Mongolian Beef had almost 0 pieces of beef. Otherwise, food is of good quality...but after a couple visits it seems like something is sort of off.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu.

Excellent food, very Noisy Friday night, I had such a bad experience waiting with my 2 little girls they said the waiting time was about 45 min. The wait ended up being 1:25 min. The hostess was rude I ask few times how far we were and why was taking too long There were a lot of people arriving and they sat them down immediately hosted said was because they have reservation. Then I made one on line while we were waiting and was the only way we got Sat. I had one of my kids crying because was starving. Her answer was “THATS NOT OUR FALT, we can’t not control how long people will be seated on the tables. Obviously you can tell she has NO SYMPATHY.

The food wasn't as we had hoped. They advertise themselves as a Thai and Chinese noodle house. There was really only Pad Thai as the main Thai option and the cost was high for the caliber of the Pad Thai.

Lively place in Schaumburg that serves Thai fusion food. Warning some of the spice levels can be tongue scorchers. Had the green curry version and was left sweating.

It was really crowded when I arrived one evening after 6 pm. But the 2 of us were lucky enough to get a set at the bar. The drinks were great and nicely portioned. I'd never tried Thai food, but the chicken potstickers were great!

The food is always good... just vastly smaller portions. But DO NOT waste your money on their cocktails!!

The food was very disappointing. The hot sour soup had no flavor and by no means was it spicy. When he asked how it was we told him but no response. Not spice at all and they charge 10.95 for a large one. Outrageous for the quality and taste. Worst hot and sour I've had. Pad TAHI was not good at all. Didn't even put the eggs in it Two dishes something left out of each at 18.95 a dish they don't even give you what you pay for. No flavor, very dry and not pleasant to eat. Husband had the KUNG PAO CHICKEN which was ok but was suppose to have nuts on it. None to be found. Service was not good. Server never came to table unless we got his attention. For a 60.00 plus bill. Also no water. I expect a little service. He also did not do the bill correct. Happy hour beer was charged full price. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they can show improvement in food and service. Too many other good places out there. update sent me email to discuss. Sent Info back to them but no response back from them. Why send email and then not reply to it?

This was our first visit to Big Bowl. Our server showed us the options on the menu and explained how to order. Appetizers were good but the Chef's Choice Stir fry with shrimp was outstanding. We chose the Shanghai garlic ginger sauce and they prepared the vegetable fried rice with brown rice, as we requested, as a healthier choice. The chicken wonton soup was delicious. So we ordered s hot snd sour soup to go with our leftovers. All around our service was very very good. (Apple A ? Was our server) We observed that once a table ordered, the hot, freshly prepared entrees came out in less than 10 minutes. This is a Diversified menu of Chinese and Thai food with mix and match options. We will be returning soon.
