I recently visited Bisi African Restaurant in Schaumburg, from New York, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The authentic African dishes are rich in flavor, with each bite feeling like a journey to the heart of West Africa. I highly recommend trying their jollof rice and grilled suya – both were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. Whether you’re familiar with African cuisine or trying it for the first time, Bisi African Restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back! THANK YOU TO MR TONY AND CHEF BISI??????

My first visit here and the hospitality shown by Anthony was heart warming! Jollof rice, beef patty, egusi, and efo riro were delicious. Thank you for recommending the Vita Malt Classic and Reggae Style Ginger Beer Soda. Support local business!

Magnificent place to eat Nigerian food in Chicago. The jollof rice was the best I have ever had in my life (no cap). The plantain ??. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for the fast service too.

Food is great very flavourful very good always Service very kind but everytime i order im paying well over 20$ and i do not get that much stew at all its more meat then there is stew almost everytime i guess I'm unable to post the picture or video of my order from last week for some reason google isn’t letting me! Also a few months ago i ordered but the take out container was slightly bigger and this last time it was back smaller to the original size so not sure if i want to keep going back to this particular African restaurant I’d rather drive the extra miles elsewhere! I’m not ordering for meat I’m ordering for stew this last time was the last straw for me, there was BARELY any stew at all just ALL MEAT which is now like 5$ extra lol & the goat is sometimes either over cooked, old, or just like mixed in with like 2 soft pieces and the rest is super hard/dry without the stew and i barely get any of that so yea.

I ordered the Asun & rice with a side of plantains. This is a meal for spice connoisseurs and delivers with a great flavor! The goat was cooked excellently falling apart with bone-in skin-on for all the flavor! The rice was a perfect velvety counter to the spice and the plantains provided the dessert. I'm from Philadelphia but will seek this out next time I'm in town

Great music, clean, good beer selection, good food. My visiting friend was craving Nigerian food and I happened to find this place on Google maps. It turned out to be amazing. I’ve never had Nigerian food before but he was impressed and said it was better than the Nigerian food he’s had in New York. This is better than similar restaurants I’ve tried myself in SF and I believe this is a restaurant that would be very popular in a big city.

I returned and brought my brother a week later.
We got: goat pepper soup (FIRE!!), moi moi (also Fire,) egusi, fufu, and joloff rice. The goat pepper soup and moi moi were my favorites. My brothers favorite was also the goat pepper soup. Delicious. And our server was very nice and got me 2 free Maltas (a type of soda). I will be back

Attended the Global Leadership Summit in Chicago and a friend brought me here to experience authentic Nigerian food. The food was on another level. The suya was full beef with no fat and it was specially spiced that it took me back home. Same with the fish. It was so delicious that I promise myself to visit again. The owner was very friendly and gave excellent customer service. Thank you for representing our local cuisine well. God bless you ???!

I absolutely love this place!!!!! My husband and I came to Chicago for the weekend. We always try to visit Nigerian restaurants whenever we are out of town. we found this restaurant online then I remembered a friend of mine told me about this place sometime ago. The setting, the food, the music, the drinks, the customer service 10/10 for real.
We got the asun with a side of rice, pounded yam and egusi, fried rice, jollof rice, Gizdodo, goat meat pepper soup and some meat pies. I know it’s a lot of food but they were worth the price for real. ( we spent almost $250 for all the food including drinks). When I tell you everything tasted so FRESH and authentic??? Believe me! I cook a lot and I cook real good. I’m always happy when I get Nigerian meals and it tastes really good.
This is the best Nigerian restaurant I’ve been to in the United States so far and the best Nigerian restaurant food for real.
The man who attended to us was so nice and knows how to run a good business.
Would definitely be visiting again.
Keep up the good work

Food was great. I had iyan and efo with egusi. My friend had jollof rice with plantain and goat meat. The food was great. The place is nice. Unfortunately they don't have dining service. Hence the four stars.
