Stopped here on a whim and glad we did! Some real BBQ with good flavor. I had Cowboy fries with pulled pork and my husband had a Nashville Hot sandwich. We both enjoyed our food and the freshness of it. The only thing that's hard to rate is service, as you order at a kiosk, go up to the counter to get your own food and clean up after yourself. Not much service being offered, but the food and atmosphere were good.

We were really looking forward to trying Blackwood BBQ for the first time to celebrate my birthday with our family of 6. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. We arrived excited to finally taste what we’d heard good things about, only to be told they were short on ribs—one of the main reasons we chose this spot. It was disappointing, especially on a special occasion. How does a BBQ restaurant run out of ribs, especially during dinner hours?

Nice place for quick and good BBQ. They adjusted very well to COVID-19. Loved the Nashville Hot Chicken.
Edit: they use door dash for delivery which means often you are sharing a delivery with some other order. My deliveries have regularly been twice as long as estimated and then the food is cold while I wait for the dasher to pick up or deliver some else's meal.

Somebody needs to go back to barbecue school. I am on a strict diet for my kidneys but I allow myself one meal a week to splurge but I WASTED it here. Ordered brisket sandwich with the moist brisket, side of coleslaw, chips and queso and had unsweetened ice tea. The brisket was very dry and was in chunks not sliced. I tried to overcome the dryness with sauces which were cold and not very good. The coleslaw had no flavor and the queso was so salty I could barely eat any of it. Even the ice tea had no flavor it was so watered down. Maybe I am spoiled by the fact that I have had the best brisket there is but this is not even in the league with the average barbecue places I have been to.
