Tried this place and wouldn't come back. You walk in and there are no instructions on what to do or how to order. You pretty much have to do EVERYTHING yourself and figure it out on your own. Paid $55 for 2 people which is absolutely ridiculous considering there was barely any food on my plate. The portion sizes are for toddlers and food was mediocre. Brisket was dry but seasoned well and the elote corn was disgusting 🤢🤮. The set up of the restaurant is very congested. I gave 2 stars because the sweet tea was the best thing about this place. If you've ever had real BBQ, then you will not like the food here.

I had an incredible experience at Blackwood BBQ! The flavors were absolutely amazing—every bite was packed with rich, smoky goodness that really set it apart from your typical BBQ spot. What impressed me the most was how creative the dishes were. They take classic barbecue and put a unique spin on it, making the menu feel both comforting and exciting at the same time.
The portions were generous, the presentation was on point, and the staff made the whole visit even better with their friendly service. If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic BBQ flavor with creative flair, Blackwood BBQ is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Consistently great food for a great cause. I’ve been coming here for years with friends and family, and everyone’s loves it. The gentleman with glasses and a beard behind the counter was especially helpful in helping me decide what to order. One of the best BBQ and fried chicken spots in the area especially for the price.

Food came recommended, was highly disappointed. Got a variety of different foods to try, ribs were extremely dry and had no flavor same with the pulled pork. The mac and cheese had a chalky texture and was not pleasant to eat. Some of the worst BBQ food I've ever had. The restaurant itself has a fun vibe but don't go here if you are looking for good food you won't get it.
