I am not sure if I've had A1 customer service like this in a long time. Elizabeth is in the position she's in because of the service that she provides. My customer experience was A+. this was my first time coming to B's. I usually go to Elgin to get catfish fillets. NEVER AGAIN.Not only was the food amazing...the service was outstanding!!!! I recommend this place to ANYONE who needs good food and excellent customer service. this is my one stop for my fish. Elizabeth explain to me in more detail about the the menu and the details on certain days. I cannot wait until Monday to have soul food Monday with B's shrimp and fish..THANKS ONE SATISFIED CUSTOMER

Incredible food, I got the shrimp and fries with mozzarella sticks. The shrimp and fries were seasoned perfectly, and the mozzarella sticks were perfectly made. Definitely come here for a quick bite to eat.

In all honesty.. I've had the pleasure of knowing the owners for sometime now.. the integrity and honer and everything when it comes to running anything is instilled in their hearts.. I've seen first hand what they've done fir people even before they opened their establishment and they've carried the same principles since day one without an ounce of entitlement.. not only do I know they are very amazing generous people.. but I cook every fricken day and this food is phenomenal lol.. trust me.. I don't waste time with reviews but this is overdue.. we'll deserved and great family business.. ask for Beth or Ken! Mention Jeremy they might throw a shrimp at your face

My wife and I stumbled across this place tonight. The wings and shrimp were fantastic. There is no reason for me to ever go back to Harold's. The homemade sauce on the wings is unbelievable. The coleslaw and potato salad were just as good. Not only was the food great but the owners are fantastic! She gave recommendations on food and homemade sauces. When she found out it was our first time there she even threw in a piece of the best apple cheesecake I've ever had. The food and service are fantastic. Absolutely one of new my favorites. This place is legit. I can't wait to try the catfish.
Edit: I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We tried the catfish po boy and the cod nuggets tonight. There is nothing at this place that isn't awesome. The sauces are crazy good too
I love her homemade coleslaw and potato salad! And the soul food dinners on Sunday are the best! Tastes like grandma's cooking. Love this place ❤️ fried catfish & poor boy sandwiches are bomb too

I loved speaking with the wife/hostess/greeter and the daughter over the phone and the wife in person. I first tried the perch fish. It was amazing amazing. So before I left the state of IL I had to stop by in person to get multiple new experiences. I think now I got potato salad, coleslaw, pasta salad, mac n cheese, fried chicken, butter cookies, yams, dirty rice and collard greens. I was supposed to have corn muffins but they were missed. Fried chicken was definitely for experience purposes with the (dirty bird) I would rate it a 3 for appearance but when I opened it us it was not giving :( it was not no where good as I anticipated for a cheat day experience and that was a hard NO for me; it had outside appearance crunch golden brown but once I pulled it apart piping hot smh wtf....moving on. Yams a hitter, mac n cheese was different for me but well pleasing good. The dirty rice was dirty and okayyyy :) happy dance. I was worned that the pasta salad was good and it DID NOT fail yesssss wife I loved it; the butter cookies were giving old school lunch room lady/mom butter cookies I am not sharing vibe; I enjoyed my experience with the coleslaw yum now I see why my daughter snatched mine from delicious perch fish but I am moving on. The collard greens were yessss okay I am feeling you Auntie, Granny's house good and you are doing the two step in your chair while digesting feeling ohhhh sooo good. Bs Shrimp you definitely have "IT"....now I am really not a meat eater but when I do adventure out I am excited to try at times.....the fried perch will get me to try other fish and shrimps in the future. Thank you all for your contribution and cooking overall a 4/5 or a 8.5/10 however you want to slice the pie! Next time i will have the photos child I was sooo hungry I was like lets go:)))))))))

I came to this restaurant not knowing it was under new management. I met both the owners and they both were super nice. I loved how they clean up and remodel this place it is so beautiful. I love how you can see in the back while they cooking. The food was super fresh and season to perfection, the dessert was delicious. I wanted to try everything. I didn’t expect this coming from where this restaurant was with the previous owners. I’m glad I stop by and I will definitely come again. I would have shared a picture of my food but I ate it before I can get home. I would definitely recommend. I ordered shrimp fish French fries, vanilla cake, peach cobbler and butter cookies. I love all the homemade tarta sauce and cocktail sauce. When I tell you everything was perfect trust me it was perfect. I had to call my coworker while I was there.
Parking: Plenty of parking. I park directly in front of they door.
