I recently visited Checkers Pancake House with my wife and my baby boy for breakfast and had a fantastic experience! The moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were warm welcoming, greeting me with a smile and making me and my family feel right at home.
Like the place, food is pretty good, and generally speaking the service is good too. Our most recent visit, however, was quite disappointing. We arrived one hour and 15 minutes before closing time. The service was not so good. Waitress never asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks or anything else. An hour before closing time, someone started mopping floors so we had to eat our lunch while inhaling a strong odor of floor cleaner. Then they must have been cleaning the...
